it's obvious that they are, so what's with the denial all about?

these people seek division within Christianity, so there's no use pretending they don't because it's obvious.

The GMC, ask the Bible-fundamentalists why they do that.

Nhuj, you're not getting the point do you? no matter what name Bible-fundamentalists call themselves, they are still Protestants. then again, what brain cells do you have that you are talking about, I honestly doubt you have any. this is a very simple question yet you don't get it, while everybody already has.

Because they do not understand Christian History or that all the "Non-denominational Fundamentalists" came out of the Protestant Christian movement in the 1950's. They think they have found something new (which they haven't).

Most don't even understand that the Wars of Reformation were mostly Protestant against Protestant and the Churches they talk of killing people during the reformation were, well, mostly Protestant Churches.

It relies upon on the way you check out it. in the journey that they deny they're Protestant and can't admit to the validity of the Church Jesus depending, then they're in protest to Protestantism. they're going to declare they do no longer keep on with Luther, Calvin, Knox or Zwingli, yet keep on with the bible. it is the purest type of Protestantism. No, they have not a clue what they're speaking about.

you know them. all they do is protest, but doesn't want to be called Protestants. duh!

to Nhuj: outside the Catholic Church any Christian-professing individual is a Protestant. I'm getting annoyed of all the ignorance these newly-sprung Protestants are spreading, like Christianity is not a religion, Bible-fundamentalism is real Christianity and all that bull. Bible-fundamentalists are Protestants because they're outside the Catholic Church. maybe you need to read history to know your roots.

I have to agree with "Pull My Finger, CIB"
comment.

When I converted to Catholicism, my Protestant baptism was acceptable in the Church...........but others were not. I assume there are differences.

I agree with Cathy. No knowledge of Christian history whatsoever - but then why would they? There's nearly 2000 years worth of Christian history that aren't covered in their one and only history textbook.

Peace to you.

No one ever said that the Catholics were stupid. They are geniuses at politics. The greatest Catholic that ever lived was Gregory at the end of the 6th Century. Thanks to him the Catholic Church is what it is today. Without him the Catholic organization would be a footnote of history.

His strategy was simple. Whenever and wherever he found the Christian faith, he would force it by use of the sword and pen to transform into the Catholic faith.

His envoy to Briton could not reach an agreement with the 1200 pastors outside of their control, so they killed them after a bogus conference. They took over their meeting places and converted them into Catholic Chapels.

They used literary makeovers for men like Patrick of Ireland, capitalized upon ignorance of the masses, and called him a Catholic missionary. Genius, pure genius.

So now ignorant people like you ask questions like, "I thought everyone was a Protestant".

Sorry, but if your read unabridged history of Europe and Christianity, not everything is so neat and tidy as the Catholic Church presents in it's own histories. By the way the Jesuits were formed to use Propaganda (I am not making this up!) to convince the world that they need to submit to the Catholic Church by using any means necessary. The end justifies the means (including murder and lying). So lie is what they have done.

I was taught to check out everything you are told. Test theories & ideas. Educate yourself. Do not just accept the Status Quo.

In a journey of discovery where you question everything, it is amazing the levels of complexity you find in the world.

By the way, my people have been rejecting the Catholics for 1757 years. I do not see this as changing.

Reformers from the Catholic Church have joined us from time to time. Martin Luther filled the ranks of his Protestant Church by signing a pact with many of our people in 1525. Those of us who refused to join him were persecuted by him. But that is what we had said all along. Like mother (Catholic) like daughter (Protestant). We will not marry either of these women.

Our goal is to protect the purity of the bride of Christ. And this we have done for 2000 years so far. We pray that we are in the remnant of the pure when Jesus returns.

Our goal is to glorify Him. May God be true and every man a liar.

I love the ones who say they are "Christian." And when you ask what branch of Christianity, they wrinkle their brow and say, "Christian." And when you say, "Yeah, but are you Lutheran, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, or what? What church do you go to?" then they get angry and say, "I'm just a normal Christian and I go to the Christian church!"

What's with those people? Are they going to a non-denominational church, but don't realize it, or what?

They probably hate labels. Especially labels that seem to indicate divisions within Christianity.
