Aside from natural causes(old age/disease), humans cause more deaths to other humans than anything else. Why should I not allow myself to feel happy in life? I'm at just as much risk of dying as the next person. Is my misery going to save anyone? I do what I can to help, but considering the billions of people living in the world, I would send myself insane trying to save everyone, wouldn't I?
What are you doing to help? Stopped any wars lately? Taken any big corporations to court & won lately? Stopped a murderer from killing their victim lately? Probably not.

Well, what Jesus said about bad things happening is this:
"Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish." ( Luke 13 )
And about worry, he said this:
25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
( Matthew 6 )
So I am content. Happy, let me be happy later. Because every day without fail I MUST tell the Lord that I am willing to trust Him. I MUST!

I really don't care personally even if tons of people are getting massacred every second on the other side of Earth. All I care about is me myself and people who share a bond of blood with me. As long as I don't get killed, it's fine.

Yes, I am very happy. I will not stay sad all day because of the evil in this world. I know it is out there and I prefer to let God deal with it.

So you're saying: Are you happy? Let me try and steal your happiness....
People that are genuinely happy in life are able to have joy precisely because they are able to not let things steal their joy. They can take joy in the little things. Does it interest happy people to know that people are killed and die continually........probably. Does it have anything to do with their happiness or joy......................absolutely not.

I'm very happy with my life.
Let me show you some math:
-Number of people in the USA today=300 million
-Average lifespan of person in the USA=80 years
-Avg lifespan in days (80 X 365.25)=29220
-Number of people who are born and die each day just to maintain homeostasis (300 million / 29220 days)=10,267 per day... and that's just in the United States!
People die... get over it!
