Who are the end times two witnesses?

Can we say specifically who the two end times witnesses of God are at present times? or can any person specifically know if he is one.I am reading a book ( 2008 God's Final Witness ) about the end time and the Author Ronald Weinland Said he is one of the Two final end time Prophets that are about to be reveal.

Yes well not every prophecy is in Revelations. First the Rapture shall occur and the true followers of Jesus shall meet in heaven too receive their crowns for their Christian services. The Antichrist aka abomination that makes desolation shall forge a 7 year tribulation shall commence once Israel signs a peace treaty for 7 years. ANY GUESSESS ON WHO THE ANTICHRIST IS; IS ONLY A FOOLS GAME!!! After the rapture the antichrist shall reveal himself and only the newly converts of Jesus after the rapture shall decipher the name of the beast which is 666, SO IN ESSENCE ANY 666 GUESSING GAMES RIGHT NOW BEFORE THE RAPTURE IS ALSO A FOOLS GAME!!! The Antichrist will be a powerful world leader well versed in all arts. The antichrist myriads of talents are the following:
• Oratorical genius (Great speaking ability that entrances the human ears i.e. Hitler)
• Intellectual Genius
• Commercial Genius
• Military Genius
• Administrative genius
• Religious genius

Once this happens the judgments shall commence. The first is the seven seals of the scroll opened by Jesus. By order of the treaty of the Antichrist the Jews are now allowed to build their Temple. During this time because God has such bountiful grace and mercy he dispatched 144,000 Jewish evangelicals out of the 12 tribes of Israel 12,000 each Tribe to proclaim the gospel AND MANY shall be saved. God shall also dispatch the 2 witnesses to preach their testimony for 1,260 or 3 ½ years, these witnesses are indestructible during this time they will command fire to come from the sky as well as shut the sky to inhibit rain from falling and execute as many plagues and torments as often as they wish. THE 2 WITNESSES SHALL BREATH FIRE FROM THEIR MOUTHS TO ANYONE WHO ATTEMPTS TO HARM THEM; THIS IS THE WAY THEY MUST DIE. Some speculate that it shall be Moses and Elijah, we know it shall be Elijah as written in Malachi 4:5. Then the seven trumpets of Judgment shall commence which are worse than the 7 seal of the scroll. During this time while Israel is in their false sense of Security Rogue nations that harbor hatred towards them shall do a sneak attack on them this is prophesied in Ezekiel Chapter 38 and 39 know as the Prophecy Against Gog. It is when Russia, Ethiopia, Libya, Iran, Turkey and other nations try to wipe Israel of the map but to no avail for God obliterates them in his wrath and hot anger. During the first half of tribulations the false world religion controls everything even the Beast of the Sea. Also some of the Jews heeding the warning of the Jewish Evangelicals shall be suspicious and disillusioned by the antichrist (world Leader) and flee to the ancient Ruins of Petra/Bozrah there they shall be supernaturally protected by God. While the raptured followers of Jesus are given their crown they are pestered by the Devil accusing them they are not worthy to be saved but his accusation (Satan) are in Vain. God having enough of his dribble and comments from the peanut gallery expels Satan out of the atmospheric heaven. When the midpoint of the tribulation comes about the antichrist shall slay the two witnesses and the whole world is so morally bankrupt that they shall rejoice over their death and even give gifts to each other. After 3 ½ days they shall come back to life and a voice from heaven shall say “come” and a cloud ascend them both to heaven while their enemies look below a tenth of Jerusalem is destroyed by an earthquake and 7,000 people are killed via earthquake worldwide. Then the antichrist shall sit himself on the throne and proclaim himself to be “god” and demand worship. The beast out of the Earth (False Prophet) shall make sure everyone accepts the mark of the beast failure to accept it means you cannot buy or sell and you shall be beheaded. This will separate the true Christians from the pseudo-Christians. During this time God in his mercy shall do something that has never been done before!!! He shall dispatch 3 powerful angels in the guise of humans to preach the everlasting gospel. They will adamantly stress and warn that those who accept the mark of the beast shall partake the winepress of God’s wrath. This means accepting the mark of the beast is THE UNFORGIVABLE SIN!!!!!!!! Once the Antichrist sit on the throne and declares himself as “god” then the wrath of Sovereign Lord will reach its zenith and his boiling anger shall commence the 7 bowls of his wrath which is worse than the seven seals of the scroll and the 7 trumpets of Judgment. Babylon shall be rebuilt and all commerce shall be transferred to there as in total opposition of God. Babylon is finally destroyed. The heavens rejoiced at its destruction. Jerusalem shall be taken over and then the nations meet at the valley of Megiddo or known as Armageddon. After Israel recognized its national sin the rejection of Jesus they pray for 2 days and the Lord hears their prayers and Jesus comes back by landing his feat on the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14:3-5. Jesus shall defeat the antichrist and his forces by uttering the word of God and for 1,600 stadias or 2,000 miles up to the horses’ bridle the whole valley of Megiddo shall be a sea of blood thus written in the book of Isaiah 63:1-6. Everyone but the antichrist and false prophet have been turned into fodder by Jesus. The antichrist and false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire tormented day and night. Blessed are those who make it to 1,335 days what does that mean Daniel 12:11-12. It means that a saved Christian or Jew that accepted Jesus as their savior are invited to the millennium. From the period of the abomination that makes (midpoint of the tribulations) desolation of the temple to the end of that shall be 1,260 days plus 45 days to purify the Earth from the grievous damage and filth and plus 75 days to judge the nations treatment towards Israel the parting of the sheep and goats the sheep are allowed to enter the millennial kingdom governed by Jesus that equals 1,335 days!! This is the kingdom that was in Daniel 2:44-45 that is the millennial kingdom!! At this time Satan shall be bound in the bottomless pit so he may not tempt for the next 1,000 years. Creation shall be radically changed as the Adamic curse shall be partially lifted there shall be new healthy bodies at that time disease is no more. People can live for 1,000 years!! Nature shall be transformed and wild animals shall be tamed and we all shall be pretty much vegetarians as written in the book Isaiah 65:17-25 and this:

However great that is people are still going to rebel as written in Isaiah 65:20!! Even under utopia conditions via Jesus people shall go against Jesus. Satan shall be released and the rebels will be destroyed by fire from God. Those who are at the Great white Throne are not saved and are not written in The book of life they are thrown in the lake of fire forever and the ones who are saved are in bliss with God and Jesus in the new heaven and Earth. The number two can refer to more then two because the minimum number a case is tried is by two or more witnesses.
Deuteronomy 19:15.....  “No single witness should rise up against a man respecting any error or any sin, in the case of any sin that he may commit. At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses the matter should stand good.

In the case of who do the represent John does not name or specifically identify the two witnesses. This shows that they could be a group of people representing God's organization on earth.

Look out for this man. I would not trust anyone to be these witnesses until other genuine signs of the endtimes come.

When Israel gets to rebuild the temple where the Dome of the Rock mosque now stands then maybe these witnesses will be here.

These witnesses are sent to ISRAEL. They are to lead Jewish people to the Messiah. They have a specific mission to God's people who are Jewish. They have NO JOB with us who are already Christians!

Your guy has all the marks of a cult type leader. What he says contradicts the word of God. Please read the book of Revelations for yourself. I don't remember the specific chapter that speaks of the two witnesses. BUT I clearly remember their function in the last days!!!!!!

I was lead to Jesus by charismatic Christians. I loved our worship and its spontenaity, but there were time they were not strong on study of God's Word. It is so important to know what the Bible teaches.

Much of end times issues can be hard to understand. You need to be careful of anyone who seems to claim they have the total definitive message of what you need to know. None of us Christians has a complete, total grasp on every single area of faith/belief. Pray like mad, Read the Word, Fellowship with mature Believers. Go slow with anyone who seems to have a radical far out view.

I feel Moses and Elijah are ones who have seen more and not have talked about it (not written). There is much record of Ellijah outside of Torah. See Talmud references etc.

The book of Revelation has many symbols that have a hidden meaning. If the dragon represents Satan, and Babylon represents apostate religion, it is not unreasonable to believe that the two witnesses represent something as well.

A literal reading would indicate two people, but because so much of the book is symbolic, we should be open to another interpretation. Moses and Elijah are the current favorites based on a literal reading of chapter 11, and because of the nature of the miracles performed by the witnesses. Moses and Elijah performed similar miracles when they were alive on this earth. However, it makes no sense for God to send Moses and Elijah back to earth just to perform these miracles. Any faithful follower of God could be used in this capacity. Why Moses and Elijah? Why would God allow these two to die, and then ressurect them? It makes no sense.

In Revelation 11, John is given a vision of the heavenly sanctuary where Jesus ministers as our High Priest. All the other parts of the sanctuary point to Jesus. He is our Sacrificial Lamb, our High Priest, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World. Even the incense that is offered up is mixed with the righteousness of Christ. These two witnesses in Revelation 11 are the two olive trees and candlesticks that stand before God.

Jesus proclaimed, "Let your light so shine before men" and again, "don't hide your light under a bushel". The voice of Jesus who is called the "faithful witness" in Revelation 1:5 likens our witness to a light for all the world to see. In like manner, Jesus is the central figure in all the Bible. Christianity and the church are built on Him, the Rock. If the two witnesses stand before the God of the earth, they can not be Elijah and Moses as this is not their function. Jesus on the other hand, is represented by every other item in the sanctuary. It is only natural that the two witnesses must represent Christ as well. One could say that Jesus is the "living word" and His followers have been baptized into this body with Jesus as the head. This is the first witness. The second witness is the written word, the Holy Bible.

God is on trial in the great controversy between good and evil. Jesus, by His death on the cross showed the true character of God as being loving, yet just. The followers of Christ also vindicate God's character by living a life of loving witness to those around them. The Bible speaks of the love and justice of God and witnesses to the world about His goodness. By these two witnesses, Satan's claims against God are proven false.

Both the Bible "the written word" and the church, "the living word" prophesied in sackcloth for 1260 years during the reign of Papal Rome in the dark ages. The true church of Christ was forced into hiding in the mountains of Europe as Rome sought to slay the saints of the Most High. Over 50 million people were slain during the reign of terror by Papal Rome. The Bible was forbidden to be read or owned. As the word of God caused no rain to fall during Elijah's day, so by the word of God, the abuse of the Bible and the true church led to war after war in Europe involving much bloodshed. In addition, the dark ages were full of superstition. Neglect of the Bible and biblical principles led to uncleanliness of mind, body and spirit. Plagues ravaged Europe. Conservatively, one third of the population of Europe was wiped out by the small pox alone. Water in Bible prophecy stands for people (see Revelation 17:15) The statement in Revelation 11:6 that the waters turned to blood is an apt description of the bloodshed during the dark ages, the crusades etc.

The protestant reformation brought about an end to the dark ages, and later an end to the rule of Rome. Papal Rome came into power in 538AD. 1260 years later in 1798, the Pope was taken captive by Napoleon's general. The Pope died in captivity. This was the deadly wound spoken of by John in Revelation 13. But the deadly wound was healed when in 1929 the Vatican was given back its land. Papal Rome has been growing into power ever since.

In Bible prophecy, a day equal a year. Thus, 1260 days, 31/2 years equals 1260 years, the exact length of the rule of Papal Rome during the dark ages. At the end of the 1260 years, the world witnessed the death of the witnesses as the French Revolution outlawed the Bible and brought in their "age of Reason". Three and one half years later, the French Revolution had to abandon their bloody rebellion and admit that outlawing God was a failed experiment. The resulting great awakening that followed produced the largest spiritual revival since the protestant reformation. Truly, the two witnesses had come back to life stronger than ever.

There are two witnesses throughout the biblical text:

Moses & Aaron
Joshua & Caleb
Elijah & Elisha
John the Baptist & Jesus

The two witnesses are resurrected after 3 1/2 days or 3500 years. 3500 years ago the physical manifestations of the two witnesses (Moses & Aaron) appeared to lead the Children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt.

So now, after 3500 years, in what is the third and final "era of Jacob," the era of spirit and spiritual awakening, it is time for these "two witnesses" to be resurrected from within the heart, so that we too can be led out of physical and spiritual bondage/addiction of the World.
