seems it means i'm saved. furthermore, nowhere in this verse does it say the wife of an unbeliever must be a believer...

First off, sanctified does not mean saved or declared righteous in God's sight. Second, would you want your eternal destiny dependent on whether or not you significant other was truly a believer and not just a surface believer, third, there is no law in the new testament, finally, did you not read the context of the verse, you cannot just take one verse and make a doctrine out of it or else i could say, "anyone who does not do well in business will go strait to hell, after all Matthew 25:30 says: And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

You can wipe that grin off your face because you are not saved based on this text. Notice the words unbelieving; Salvation is not a package deal. Every person must be saved for themselves. This verse is saying that the unbelieving spouse and unbelieving children will share in some of the blessings of the believing husband or wife because they are joined to her. Her/His godly influence may win them over to Christ. Once those children reach the age of accountability that is only determined by God, they will be responsible before God just like the unbelieving spouse is responsible before God. If all of them reject God and die in that state they die in their sins and are eternally lost. Sanctification is not salvation.

Only if you do not "conflict" or oppose with him as the head of the wife..as Christ is the head of the Chruch...and, if the children are allowed to be brought up under the teaching a guidence of the doctrines of the church..and your non-beliefs do not interfere with the christian harmony of the home..and you hold in your heart the respect of his God...etc...otherwise, you are making yourself an enemy of him, and of God even in your own household...and then this is not honored because you will have broken the agreement (contract) and will be in violation..thereby, are no longer sanctified...sorry... "Peace!" You should not take out of context what you do not understand...you can not do as you please...if you truly love him.... ok? :)

Why do you try to understand spiritual things without help? This is out of context AGAIN. Read the whole passage......This passage concerns divorce actually. Paul is telling the Galatians that when and unbeliever is married to a believer it is not a cause for divorce, but if possible try to win the lost one over to the Lord while married to him/her. (He or she could be sanctified through the believing spouse's words and actions) It is a better chance for them to be saved if you stay married, if possible, and the odds are better for the children as well to be saved (when they reach the age of accountability).
When you read the King James version, you not only need the Holy Spirit to interpret (as in all scripture), but you need to understand the King's English also.
There is only one way to heaven and that is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.....you must personally believe for yourself....don't think you can slip through under your wife's skirts. Sorry.
But, it seems you seek sanctification as a good thing to have. So, it's really quite simple to have it by repentance & confession of your sins and asking God to forgive you and Jesus to be your Savior. So simple if you believe. I pray you do.

It says that your sanctified by , or in relation to, your wife , NOT that your saved.
The scripture actually passes this benefit onto the children that the marriage makes and not to yourself.
Too bad , you will need to find another loop hole, or a better idea is to follow what the Bible really teaches.

If it were that simple.
It is possible to establish the fact that all true believers are sanctified by indirect proof. In whatever we might differ, on this one point there is agreement, that no one not on God's side is a Christian. We must be for him; must have given ourselves to him; must yield ourselves in willing obedience to him; must be on his side. But this is to be sanctified, dedicated, consecrated. In our personality we must also be free from uncleanness, as God has no fellowship with darkness and sin.
You have to read scripture using scripture.
In your case not believing in God is a blasphemy.
