No, because they have a different definition of common sense than the rest of us.
To them, common sense is more like, "It's in the Bible. Duh!"
Thinking like *that* is scary...

Yes, oh yes it does. infinite make more sense then the finite. There are more example of infinite things in the physical world then there are finite things. I have discussed with the strongest believes with common sense and I don't ever dare change there mind but gain a clearer perpective of mine. If any one wish to chat on the subject my e-mail is bitmap0100@yahoo.com.

Not at all, I love to study even from a secular view:
history
paleantology
geology
anthropology
... and more

my favorite channel is the history channel which is far from christian.

The thing is that I weigh all the facts against the Bible, and they end up making my beliefs stronger, also,
I am taking a logic and a rhetoric class (or classes?)
I love common sense...
good book too :)

No - I am always exhorting people to be rational and use common sense.

Common sense is a rare thing, no matter what people believe or not, and we need a lot more of it.

Ever actually read Common Sense, or any of Thomas Paine's work? He's VIRULENTLY anti-church, and extremely effective in his argumentation. I'd assume that it would indeed scare them, not to mention that this is one of the most important and influential documents to the founding of our (U.S. American) nation.

Appeal to common sense is merely a fallacy.
