Your Pastor is yet another bigot who uses that excuse as justification for persecuting a group of people. Who is to know if God is angry at the USA at all, and even then what He is angry about? For all we know he could be angry because we eat so much shellfish, or the men in this country shave, or so many of us keep rabbits as pets, or any number of other things that are "listed" as abominations in the Bible. Funny how people forget THOSE. No what he is doing is presuming to know what goes on in the mind of God and that, dear sir, is the ultimate in hubris, or pride which is ANOTHER abomination according to the Bible.

Why pick out one thing as a reason for G-d to get angry. Leviticus 17 was given to Moses to give these commands to the Children of Israel. The whole chapter isn't even for non-Jews.
Christianity says all that stuff is fulfilled. Does your pastor want to say that the person he worships didn't fulfill this one? That this ONE out of all the commandments is still in force?
Why should christianity pick out one commandment which they translate wrong out of all the commandments to given to the chidren of Israel to follow?
I'd suggest your pastor work on his hate for liberals and not worry about the sins of others.

Most likely and grieving, too. Kinda like in the O.T. when his beloved Israel strayed into sin with the other nations and adopted their sinful ways. Back then judgment was sure and swift (of course, He usually gave them a chance to straighten up). But today, we live in the age of grace, which holds back His anger for a while (we don't know how long). I believe, personally, if the U.S. continues to fall away from God, we will be either destroyed or taken captive by hostile nations, all because of our loss of respect for God. The end times prophesies talk about Russia, Europe, Asia, etc. but there's no mention of America in the last days. I think America's treatment of God has a direct bearing on the beginning of the last days. Homosexuality is just one of the abominations the America is afflicted with now.

God called homosexuality an abomination and He hates all abominable acts we perform. So, I would say He is not at all happy with any of us who thinks homosexuality is okay.
As to your pastor, he does not have God's authority - bearing in mind his occupation - to hate anyone. He needs to rethink his feeling toward liberals. Hate the act, not the actor, so-to-speak!

God is angry when don't do what he asked of us. The Bible t teaches us that homosexuality is wrong. We DON'T excute someone for their lifestyle choice.
As far as liberal are concerned they don't care about average American just illegals , special interest groups and terrorist.
P.S. to answer the woman that says God is ticked off about Christians getting a divorce, sometimes there are good reason to get divorce. If you ask God for forgiveness he forget that sin. and then you are free to remarry.

Yes. Contrary to many people, there are things that God hates. That's why Jesus over turned the tables. God hates the immoral, those who would go against the natural use of their bodies as is stated in Romans. He also hates those that would twist the Bible's words to fit their own sinful pleasure.
