Uh huh, life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh, that's the way it is
Cause life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh that's the way it is

Chill out whatcha yelling' for?
Laid back it's all been done before
And if you could only let it be
you will see
I like you the way you are
When we're drivin' in your car
and you're talking to me one on one but you've become

Somebody else round everyone else
You're watching your back like you can't relax
You're tryin' to be cool you look like a fool to me
Tell me

Why do you have to go and make things so complicated?
I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else gets me frustrated
Life's like this you
And you fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
and promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it
no no no

Love is love, correct?

So why not allow all forms of love be cemented in marriage?

By the way I do not support either form/ perversion (polygamy and same-sex) of marriage..

I live in a fairly secular environment, my coworkers are non believers, my wife is a non believer, most of the people I associate with are non believers. When a Christian talks about their beliefs they are often laughed at or shrugged off. I have to admire their level of devotion to their beliefs, I mean where I am from they are the ones that have a heavier burden than I do.

They have no evidence to support their beliefs and most of their beliefs do not make any sense at all. I just can not see how any of this could be easy. Well Christians, I feel for you. Living your lives in a world that becomes more secular by the year must be difficult. I do not know how you can continue to have faith in this society. I sort of feel sorry for you. How do you keep it up?

I was raised southern baptist and would sing about being washed in blood of lambs and would take a symbollic communion every blue moon. These images evoke fear and negativity in me.

I now follow a more spiritual path where I believe in healing white light and a connectedness to everything that is with that center being pure love. This new way of thinking has me praising nature and thanking the earth for it's beauty and giving appreciation for the very magnificence of life.

Why do religious people label what I believe in as a cult? Why is what I am doing viewed as witchcraft or the occult?

What of the practice of eating the flesh and drinking the blood of a murdered martyr? This is accepted as normal and correct; while my belief that I can access God directly by going within my own mind is viewed as bologna! And I believe that with education and understanding of universal fact that I too can acchieve Christ consciousness... can't wait to hear these replies!!

Harshly and rudely judge you? I recommitted my life to GOD for the second time. And this time around i mean it. He has already begun to change me in more then ONE way. Im not angry like i was... no more nightmares....Im feeling a peace and a joy inside. I feel him whisper things to me.....Im learning that he LOVES us and talks to us gently. their are some Christians out there that want to come at me with pointing fingers and anger .... as if GOD told them to come after me for whatever reason. This other believer came after me tonight on my other screen name telling me that my email (spandexboi07@gmail.com) should be changed since i prefess to be a christian?! And i had stated in my question that i still live with my EX..and she went off on me ..telling me im not being lead by god.. blah blah BLAH. She doesnt know ME personally or my circumstances. If im sinning against GOD... if im doing something wrong in his eyes...he will show me! God i hate mean ppl!!!!! My life is between me and GOD

Seriously. That's the million dollar question. If you can tell me one legitimate reason why God would create something he just couldn't stand, I will pick your answer as the best.

What besides Paul's teaching and your own bias to you have to suggest jesus would condemed homosexuality?

Jesus seemed to speak more on the sins of the spirit, not of the body. He also seemed most comfortable among what at that time was seen as societies outcasts. Why would you assume he would think differently today?

Outdated sex-crime laws leave military women at risk
Those reports underscore the Defense Department's own evidence of the mistreatment of women. According to its latest released figures from a 1995 survey of thousands of military women, 52% said they had been sexually harassed, with 6% reporting actual or attempted assault. The depth of the problem was dramatized in 1996, when a dozen Army instructors at Aberdeen, Md., were charged with committing sexual crimes against female trainees.

a pregnant woman's drug use wouldn't harm her fetus? Seems like an all-powerful, all-knowing God could have thought of a way to protect innocent babies. Did God drop the ball on this one?

I guess we'll have to do what we always do and wait for science to fix God's mistakes.
