and to aid those less fortunate than thyselves. To offer shelter and food and clothes to those in need.
How then can people in this country call themselves Christian at the same time as being against people from war torn countries seeking aslylum in this country?

Hello this is James from the BBC World Service interactive discussion show "World Have Your Say".

Today: A young mother has died just hours after giving birth to twins -- after she refused a blood transfusion. She was a Jehovah's Witness. For her, accepting a transfusion would have been a sin.

Emma Gough from Telford in the UK was just 22, and gave birth to a boy and a girl. She leaves a husband and her two twins.

Jehovah Witness spokespeople say individuals make their own decisions about what treatments they're prepared to have in hospital and that all individuals have the right to refuse treatment.

This of course raises huge ethical dilemmas for doctors. Does it go against their Hippocratic oath?

Ultimately - in sitautions like this - it's a choice of faith vs life.

A lot of recent movies (not documentaries) depict Jesus as a white guy with a grown beard. Because of 9/11, anti Middle Eastern sentiments have increased....But have you ever stopped to think..?
Jesus of NAZARETH was born in BETHLEHEM. If you read the Bible he was clearly in conflict with ROMAN officials and priests. I'm asking this question as an aethiest, but have you ever though that maybe Jesus was from the Middle East himself? To some of who like to dub the Middle Eastern area of the globe as the "Circle of Evil", can you accept that Jesus possibly had similar roots to those you hate?
I'm not saying that all Christians are Middle Eastern or Muslim haters, but I want to see a perspective on someone who does view the Middle East as an enemy.

my husband and i like a name for a son, however there is a problem. you see we like the name Azreil. It means many things, depending on the culture, etc. it also means some negative things such as angel of death, angel of light, but there is a good meaning one of God. So I was wondering if I should go ahead and name our son Azreil, since we both like or not and if anyone else knows a meaning of Azreil. or another way of spelling it and its meaning.
