And don't say "terrorist" or some stupid anti-islam joke. I really don't care what you think about this or that group of muslim, I'm just asking an honest question.

Also, is it pronounced "She-ite", "She-ah"...etc? Just trying not to sound like an idiot.

I believe God is the Grand Creator, but I am also willing to accept the scientific discoveries that have been made. Granted I don't know all of them -- but couldn't it be true that God used what we call science to create everything and make things happen? Is there anybody else out there like me? And what is it called?

like why don't you won't to accept it? I don't because than that means Jesus dying on the cross of calvary meant nothing. If Jesus was just a man than our salvation is gone. But do some of you believe He was not God in the flesh but still believe He died on the cross for our sins? Making our indifferences just between Jesus being God in the flesh, and vice versa?

Hebrews 1:8 To whom is the title "O God" given? The Son. Also what did Thomas say concerning Jesus John 20:28 "My Lord and My God"

Do you think that when I die that Vatican will make me a saint? I think I deserve it with all the good deeds I've done. I will end the poverty crisis, ONE.org will cure AIDS. St. Bono of Dublin sounds pretty good.

Some one answering a question of mine said everyone is the same age in heaven..........Is this a common belief? I have never heard that. I have heard that you are the age that you were your best (like if you died at 100 years old, you may be your 20 year old self in heaven). Just need clarification.

Why do some in our society see fit to ridicule to fine work of our histroians and archiologists, calling their findings simply wrong. When the proof is concrete.
The worst thing is, such teachings are being taught over Evolution/darwinism in some schools.
Why is this going on? i dont understand the modus operandi of these people.

Earlier I had read a really insulting query in which the permission to men to beat wives was argued. Actually the user got the information from this article: http://newsbyus.com/more.php?id=10125_0_1_0_M it is really very insulting as beating of women within islam isn't such a bad idea after all. Women in Islam are free from problems in western world such as clothes to wear and sexy stares/glares.

I do not understand why people keep making such a bad thing about parts of our religion. Woman is for use of man, such as Allah said thru his blessed prophet (PBUH) Mohammad. My question is why that people who don't understand this concept is insulting the blessings of my religion, don't you think that if world only saw salvation in Islam then these things will cause more peace to be upon earth. Right now conflict arise between man and woman purely b'coz woman is not obey the man.

Ok that is what I think.

Do you block users because they write an answer you disagree with?
Or is there another reason?

Do you realize that by blocking out those with whom you disagree, you will eventually be taking to no one but yourself?
Those who seek to silence others will only silence themselves.

And this is why arguing is futile?

The same way we assume logical axioms, we must assume God exists, in order to be certain of anything else?

"It is only through trusting our own minds that we have come to know Nature herself. If Nature, when fully known, seems to teach us (that is, if the sciences teach us) that our own minds are chance arrangements of atoms, then the sciences themselves would be chance arrangements of atoms and we should have no reason for believing them.”

How can someone believe in an omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God (absolutely crucial for Christian morality) and maintain an idea of Free Will (just as crucial for Christian morality)? These two concepts seem, at least at first glance, to be incompatible a-priori. How can we escape "hard determinism" or "predestination"? Please answer BOTH sides of the question; any cop-outs will be removed.
