When was the last time that you VERBALLY witnessed face to face to an unsaved person, or even just acknowledged Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord to them ?

My husband has been wanting all of to start going to church. I usually just roll my eyes and say whatever. A part of me, and I mean a tiny part of me wants to give it a try. But the other HUGE part of me believe it to be a big joke. I don't fully believe in this whole Jesus bit. I try, I really do, but I can't help it. Another thing is, if there is a God, well I'm pissed at him! Also, I feel that most all churches are nothing but complete lies, maybe even an occult. I guess I am more confused over this then anything, so How do I go to church with my husband and manage to set thru it?

i had heard that jesus never did mention a thing about building churches or having anything like forgiving your sins to a priest, going to mass, or having a pope. Love thy neighbor as thy love thyself and have faith in God is the only things he mentiond that will get you to heaven. just want to see what people feel about this. if your athiest then this dosent count but all responses are gladly welcome!

is it the moral consiquences, the legal, or are they just to lazy to be bothered to do it? Are religious people more or less likely to kill? and can they justify it easier, (as the bible says that kill is fine, but murder is not)

What the am going to do for eternity? I'll get bored too easily on acount of my attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I'm just not at all attracted to the idea that life is forever - be it in heaven or hell!

Are Christians simply too afraid of death and thus invent this after life as a means of making death more acceptable?

Who witnessed a truly dead people speak to livings?....Don't tell me about Jesus, no one witnessed his resurrection, his corpse might be stolen and those people who claimed saw him might be in PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) state.

ok , im 19 and some days ago i started doing meditation , after that i had a weird dream where a feeling of love i have never experienced b4 came unto me , and filled me up from head to feet , it was so powerful , but liberating , it is not the the kind of passional or romantical love , it was beyond that , like a non-human unconditional love.From that point to now , i have been feeling very calm , happy ,less and less not judging others but seeing their good qualities and a sense of compassion , for the very first time i feel connected to god and in peace with myself and others.., also im having sort of physic thing going on where i can guess certain things /feelings about ppl around me....whats going on? is it just me or the meditations have woke me up?
where do u think this is all coming from?

ive heard it said that the bible told that in the last days most religion would be false. He said narrow is the gate and cramped is the road and few are the ones finding it.
does anyone know this exact quote and where in the bible it comes from?
i understand it to mean that over time people will distort His words and use them for personal gian. That organized religion is inherently corruptable.

does anyone have any other quotes like this where jesus or the bible talk about organized religion and it's pitfalls? Or about how religion is fluid and can change?


im working on a film project that this sort of information would help me with.
please tell me where your information comes from (such as chapter and verse of the bible) so that i can read more and have exact sources for my research.
