I am a virgin, and am by choice. I don't ever tell anyone i am, and only do so very late in the relationships, because i don't want to confuse people that i don't have sex!

Its hard sometimes, only because of persecution, and people judge you. But whatever I have decided to follow this path, has anyone followed this path and it really paid off, God Blessed them for being obedient?

So then why is it that god wont answer yes to any amputee but will to a ... hep c patient or a cancer patient or like my aunt gloria, chronic moles (whatever that means ... aunt gloria is a bit daffed, I always said, "Aunty, you dont have any moles..." Reply, "Exactly!") But I digress...
Does this mean god doesnt approve of amputees for some reason? Or could it be perhaps that there were no moles to begin with, or that the kimo worked etc...

is it just me or are more Catholics taking the time to defend Christ's Church and faith on yahoo answers???

About a year ago there were several of us kicking around today I see more and more of us countering the rubbish posted by anti-Catholics and fallen away Catholics who never knew their faith.

In September 1999, Scientific American published figures showing that while 90% of the general American public believes in a personal God and an afterlife, only 40% of scientists who are BS-degree-only holders so believe and only 10% of scientists regarded as eminent believe in a personal God or an afterlife.

In a 1998 survey of more than 500 members of the National Academy of Scientists, it was found that 72% were atheists, 21% were agnostics and 7% believed in God. A very similar breakdown was found in relation to belief in an afterlife.

Have all come to a unity of the faith?
If past prophets are sufficient, why don't we just go with Adam or Moses?
Does not Christ have a mouth piece (prophet) now? If so, who is it?
To Catholics: John was head of the church after peter died.

Consider this a vent. I hate it when people respond to honest answers or honest questions with (e.g.) "See? They're all wrong (and we are right)" or "No, because... well, just no."

Okay, those are exaggurated examples. But I've seen similar answers in response to questions in this section where atheists give answers *with* definitions, evidence and what not. The "If we pretend it's not there, it'll go away"-attitude actually comes from christians themselves!

I am an astrologer and experience the same attitude in people who don't "believe" in it. I could come to them with any evidence, scientifically acceptable, and they would still deny everything. Not taking the evidence in account and continue using their own personal favourites that - of course - contradict the idea that astrology might be real.

What shocks me, is that not atheists, but christians are submitting to the same sort of behaviour. Will christians please open their eyes?

PS; I'm pagan, not atheist, so you know

It looks to me that just because somebody doesn't like the other's OPINION that God exists or does not exist, they rate people down. How overly sensitive.

I mean, it's okay to do so if they're CLAIMING that God does/doesn't exist (because there's usually no comprehensive evidence), but if not, it's just the answerers' beliefs and I don't think it's right to give them a thumbs-down.

What do you think?

I have asked myself this question for years, i have read the bible, and have a somewhat deep understanding of it. Understand how to get to heaven and everything. I don't understand church goers, everyone Ive met, are bible illiterate, meaning if you asked them what do you think about Ezekiel 8 , they go who? And say dumb stuff like" We don't need to read the Old Testament" We don't? ..

Im not trying to bash y'all, It mainly comes from when I went this church my friend told me about, cause they assume you don't attend a church that means your deep in sin. So I went, and the pastor asked me questions and I kindly respond it, and he tried show how i should go to church, and thought i dint no the bible. no sir, I killed him, he has is masters in this stuff!

I love Jesus or Yashoua, he is the center of my life.

Am I wrong? Comment Please!

How do you define "religious"?
What makes somebody religious?
What makes YOU religious?
i feel that defining oneself to be religious is subjective
like i could say i'm religious but somebody else would say otherwise
however to be religious would be to follow one's religions basic principles right?? but to what extent does doing so make you
"religious"?

I'm a wolf (if my icon didn't give that away) and go by Ahroun in the fandom.

Also, how does your being a furry play into your spiritual or religious beliefs, if it does at all?

Me, I consider myself a scion of Fenrirulfr and a bastard of Sekhmet (though only metaphorically, being that I'm an atheist) and do rituals in their honor.

Christians, Is the Secret Gospel of Mark actually the missing fragments of Mark?
Many scholars felt that the Secret Mark fragments were a pastiche from the four gospels, some even suggesting that Mark's style is so simple to imitate the fragment must be a useless pseudepigraphon.

Agree or disagree.
