I'm pretty sure the "world" of the Mayans has already "ended". So I'm pretty sure they were off with that December 21st, 2012.

Hi.Well it could tie in with the Apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Medjugorje.She has been appearing there since 1981.She has given each seer 10 messages of happenings that will occur in the near future.She has told one of the visionaries "Before the visible sign is given to humanity,there will be three warnings to the World.The warnings will be warnings on the Earth. Mirjana (visionary) will witness them.Three days before one of these warnings she will advise a Priest of her choice."
After these warnings, the visible sign will be given for all humanity at the place of the Apparitions in Medjugorje. The sign will be given as a testimony of the Apparitions and a call back to faith. The ninth and tenth messages are grave matters. They are a chastisement for the the sins of the world. The punishment is enevitable because we cannot expect the conversion of the entire World. The chastisement can be mitaged by prayer and penance.It cannot be suppressed.After the visable sign - those who are still alive will have little time for conversion.According to Mirjana - we are close to the events predicted by The Blessed Virgin Mary .

no one knows .. generations have belived that they were in the end times and it wasn't the time. only god knows the answer. the book of revelations tells us clearly to watch for signs such as war / rumours of war / faminines / natural disasters earthquakes / floods / hurricanes/ tsumnis / children without affection for parents / parents against chidlren / sexual perversity , false prophets that decieve. when we see all these these things we are told it's signals like knowing the signs / birthing pains of an expectant woman. we have seen all of these ?
honestly i don't see any antichrist sort of figure on the horizon .
in an israel tour , i did see valley of armegeddon . there was something i think the guide mentioned that this is the place of last war ? blood was supposed to be level with horse . i can't imagine how we'd fight soemthing on israeli soil ? or why ?
there is also soemthing else about the eastern gate i think in the old city . i think its where jesus is said to either ascend or descend (sorry can't recall) to / or from heaven.
it's all interesting in theory / speculation / wonder. but the bottom line is we have to prepare as if we are going to live till 5000 year. be ready to go whenever and hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. i'm anxious to get into my new house in heaven and have that heavenly body that looks great and feels great.

Yes, many people are predicting December 21, 2012 based on the Mayan Calendar.
But I prefer December 12.
12/12/12 - it has a very nice symmetry - like 666!

Of course not.
There's so many physical causes that could destroy life on earth or even the planet itself, it takes a religious mind to imagine that the world could just 'end' without any of them taking place.
Its as likely as the dead rising from graves and wandering around the streets like some awful B movie.

Why would it?
It will take a very big asteroid to obliterate the earth or a really long 5 billion year wait until the sun dissipates or blows up until the earth "ends."

I can give you no answer to this question and neither can anyone else...we can guess but it is vain..for the reason that ..if you are born again in Christ you are saved so if it the day Christ returns you will be with him , if not, you will be eternally damned because of your unbeleif. As to the point of your question...Jesus said that God the father " ONLY" knows the time and none else.

It may end as we know it, but like all endings there is also a new beginning. It will be a time of drastic change, and human beings do not adapt to change easily.

No, they have been erroneously predicting the world will end for years, and it's still going like that stupid pink bunny.
