I've been around a few years, and I find that people who think they know for sure what their purpose is are usually wrong! And, we can never know what another's purpose is. Finally, the critical thing is to know that each of us has a purpose, though we may not understand or know it in this life. As for materialism, it affects us only to the extent of the choices we make, and probably a lot less than radical religious linear thinking affects some people. peace

Nonsense is relative. What seems trivial to you could be very important to someone else, and vice versa. Besides, who said that everything about life was supposed to be important? I think that most times it's the little things in life that help to make it more interesting. I mean, can you honestly say that you have never spent a day in your life thinking about things that in the long run really don't matter?
We can't all be spiritual masters.

Yes I believe that the Westerners as a whole have a much better understanding about life than those in the East.

My purpose in life has nothing to do with where I was born. Your purpose in life isn't to make rude assumptions and think you have the 'answer' to the purpose in life. We all have and find our own purpose in life. Everyone is different. Can you respect that?

I think alot of the questions don't have a thing to do about the purpose of life. They are just for fun or the askers are young and truly have not experienced the questions they are asking.

Jesus Christ is the purpose of my life since He is the Incarnation of the One God.
In both prosperity and privation ,materialistic hedonism and selfishness is a temptation but if one live real spiritual priorities one can live a balanced andGod-centered life.

despite information the item is meant to bare, that's obvious that the concentration is unwell conceived and neither serve the rationalization for binding human beings, nor vindicate the Hindu ideals (in simple terms by way of fact some foreign places society accompanied some ideals or practices of hindus). As Poondi has stated, it may be by way of fact the pronounced concept or prepare suited their convenience or rationality, fairly than infused any faith in the religion as an entire. that's pointless for the like of you to hunt for vindication of (y)our ideals, exterior (y)our community. Then what's the version from others who you talk approximately as transgressing their purview of adhering to their ideals and pushing it on others? The greatness our faith in so far because it pertains to different Faiths is that we don't push our recommendations on others, till they like to appreciate and there is abosolutely no purpose of conversion to our equipment. If the western followers of diverse faiths discover ours as 'fake faith' of their lack of expertise, that's of no effect to us. by way of fact many western scholars have / are attracted to this historical faith, for the richness of its content textile, diverse suggestions thrown for the persons to attain enligtenment etc. they're least distracted by ability of the propaganda of its detractors with regard to the shallow concept of our ideals. So provide up the phantasm that we choose the popularity of a few human beings to persist with our course.
