This is what Jesus said about those who reject and persecute the Church he founded.

“He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.” – Luke 10,16 (KJV)

Jesus also gave the Church the authority to forgive and retain sins. So if the Church condemns your blasphemy and heresy, (retains your sin) aren’t you hell-bound?

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” – Matthew 18,18 (KJV)

We know the answer is no. Thus why did the Protestants stubbornly refuse to recognise and come back to Catholic Church?

The good Lord has promised in the bible that He will be with the Church to which He has built upon His disciple, Peter till the end of time. To deny the Church authority is to deny Christ himself and to say Christ lying this fact.

How did Protestants reconcile the fact that they pick the bible according to their own liking and deny the facts?

Its important to follow the Church traditions as no one could reply on his own expertise to interpret the bible according to his own understanding even in the name of the Holy Spirit.

I personaly see nothing wrong with it. I will teach my daughter my ways, and when she gets older and feels that wicca is not for her i will not be upset.I will let her finde her own path if wicca is not rite for her.

I know a lot of Pagans feel its better to let there children finde there own path and not teach them the pagan ways. What do you think?

Having the mindset that there is more to life certainly seems like an advantange.

And all christians who tell me to let him into my heart - I'm going to treat you in complete contempt.

I read a question adressed to former Atheists, yesterday and read some comments such as.

"I do not believe anyone who was a normal, rational person can all of a sudden believe in invisible sky fairies. They simply were not true atheists to begin with.

A person can get smarter, it is almost impossible to get more stupid. Unless you have a head injury."

"Head trauma.

That was mean, I know, BUT If you were actually an atheist, not just using that term because you didn't know what you believed or didn't know what to call yourself, then it would be nearly impossible to revert back to theism.
Source(s):
Oh, so your one of THOSE PEOPLE (Who think only the people they want to answer the question should be able to answer it)! You're in for a rude awakening."

"Frontal lobotomy.

It is very difficult for an Atheist with reason who has actually thought about why they are Atheist to convert."

So what is a true Atheist as these people describe?

I think this post, at http://www.imminst.org/forum/index.php?s=&act=ST&f=118&t=18519&st=0&, by elijah3 has the best biblical reasoning on the matter. May be if the news media and the public contacted the Jehovah's Witnesses about the matter and requested they apply a more merciful interpretation of the Scriptures this problem could be stopped.

I was taught, when younger, that God created the world.

But in John 1:3 it says Jesus made everything.

I drive past this Church sometimes and scoff at a banner they’ve got hanging on their fence which faces a busy road; “God is love” it declares in bold lettering, a simple message that even a retarded child could understand, because after all, they’re obviously not appealing to society’s great minds. But love is a concept whilst God is an entity and this is a contradiction in terms. Are modern Christians tricked into assuming concepts can be entities to better enable them to maintain the delusion which imprisons them? I’m thinking about how often Christians seem to think science and evolution are some kind of entities competing with their god for their faith.

We are all going to leave the planet, and everything and everyone we know, sooner or later. Are you cool about dying, making your transition, or what ever term you use for it?

Example if a Jew was yearning for his roots but lived and raised in a secular society. He was having a hard time jumping in to Orthodox because his surroundings. Would you think this would be acceptable as long as he or she struggled to gain orthodoxy again?
