Martin Luther wanted some changes to be made in the Catholic Church because he used to be a Catholic priest, but what about the Protestants of this modern-day? they don't belong in the Catholic Church at all, so what are they really fussing all about?

again, I'm just curious.

So I tried to make some Dragons' Blood oil out of the resin chunks recently and it didn't turn out "terrible" but, I really don't know what I'm doing...so any links to a step by step process would be great or if you could just post the steps here if it's pretty simple would be awesome.

The meccan pagans described him as,

"He is liar and a magician."
"He is possessed by devils."
"He is an insane plagiarizing poet."
The Meccans called him "a lunatic, a farfetched forger, a fool, a specious pretender, and deceitful."
"The unbelievers said: 'He is a deceiving sorcerer, turning many gods into one deity.'"
They saw an ulterior "motive behind the Qur'an. It is a fabrication." "They laugh at the Qur'an."
"Allah hasn't sent down anything. You are only speaking lies." "This is nothing but pure sorcery."
"The unbelievers say, 'The Qur'an is nothing but earlier people.' lore.'"
"These are fables of antiquity which he has reinvented." "What sort of prophet is this? Why was no angel sent to him?" "These are only confused dreams. He has invented them. Let him bring a miracle to us as the earlier prophets did." "They say of the prophet, 'He has forged the Qur'an.'" "We find him full of folly and a liar to boot."

10 points for the one who gets it right.

I'm hoping in 200 years or so. It will be nice when people stop worrying about it, and forget about it, and just move on with life. Maybe people will just start realizing it's a joke and stop passing it down to others. Who knows.

Someone else just asked the above question (spellings have been corrected), but it disappeared before I could respond to it. Since I'm re-asking it, I won't give my answer to it (at least, not yet) -- but... do you think the answer is obvious?

...then why is god holding it against us and not the devil? Why would he make us pay for what the devil is doing to us? It doesn't seem right to me that a god who is supposed to be so loving would punish the victims of the devil's wrongdoings.

I've heard lots of people say how god means one thing to them, but can mean something totally different to someone else. How can god be so many different things for so many different people? How is everyone supposed to worship him if there's no uniform way in which to describe him?

heard Protestants say this as well. If keeping the Sabbath is one of the ten biggies how could they so cavalierly change the law just to advance their numbers. They are honoring th commandments in the breach. What it really seems like is that they cobbled together the two religions for political reasons or reasons of strength and power, not reasons of a covenant.
