...then why is god holding it against us and not the devil? Why would he make us pay for what the devil is doing to us? It doesn't seem right to me that a god who is supposed to be so loving would punish the victims of the devil's wrongdoings.

Jenna: How am I looking down on your beliefs? I didn't say anything rude or ignorant in my question. It seems that you might be a bit oversensitive.

Jenna: I didn't say that you're being controlled by the devil because you don't believe in god. Guess what: I don't believe in god either!! This question is aimed at the people who believe the devil is controlling those who don't believe in god.

You have hit one another of the basic flaws in the idea of God. One cannot be all good or all bad... not even a god. If the actions of a god are inconsistent, sometimes good and sometimes bad, it is an indication, more than an indication in fact, that our concept of godly a being is a virtual impossibility.
Since our concept of and our "understanding" of God is according to books like the Bible and the Cu'ran, than it is fair to say that those books are faulty... or said more plainly ---- the scriptures are dead wrong and fake... They're just another one of mankind's most laughable eff-ups.

All people that believe in something for which there is no evidence are delusional. Employing a deity as an answer, whether it is Allah/God?Odin or any others is only indicative of the state of human ignorance. 1.) The tale explains how people are failures as ancient rulers soon learned how easy it was to make people feel guilty. It is easier to control a person with a guilty conscience. 2.) The Devil is a scare tactic much like the Trolls of ancient Scandinavia. People who required an excuse also employed the Devil as an alibi. There is no Devil or Lucifer only feeble excuses employed by innumerable weak minds. 3.) The Bible was composed about 320 BCE and no person ever saw a Dinosaur. Large skeletal bones were employed by the ancients to invent their tales of Giants. 4.) The Greeks stated more than 2000 years ago that there are no miracles only phenomenon which we as yet do not have the answers to. These Greeks were wiser than the greatest Christian/Muslim of today! 5.) If the tales of the Bible/Koran were true the Gnostics of 2500 years ago would have been correct in their assessment that all Gods of the physical universe were evil. 6.) The fable of the dead God-Child recurs in many fables but the one about the God-Child who was sacrificed to go where every follower will get to go if they are good little boys and girls is indicative of the infantile logic of the followers. 7.) These Biblical tales are for the most part ancient allegories. A Greek culled tales of ancient wisdom and sayings in a book called "The Sentences of Sextus". You can read the origin to "The Sermon on the Mount" and many others there. 8.) Being worshiped by that which is inferior is an insult; the only reason any God would want to be worshiped is if he was the one who was inferior! 9.) The tales which compose the tale of Adam and Eve came from Sumer about 7000 years ago; they are allegories misinterpreted by Jews/Muslims/Christians. 10.) Exercises in subservience are required for megalomaniacs such as Muhammad and Constantine, not a deity!

You have a free will to belong to the devil or to God, to spread lies or truth. God wants you in Heaven only if you want to go. If you would rather go live with Satan, that's your free choice. The devil cannot make you do anything that you do not want to do.

YOUR LIFE IS ALL ABOUT THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE. THE DEVIL WILL TEMPT YOU BUT, IT IS UP TO YOU WHICH CHOICE YOU MAKE. GOD IS LOVE AND HE GIVES US CHANCE AFTER CHANCE. BE CAREFUL WHAT CHOICE YOU CHOOSE.
