Commonly it's spelled Shi'i or Shia and Islam holy book is called Quran

Shia (or other close spelling) is technically the way to say it (she- followed by a red-necky way of saying eye). I think Shiite is an English twist on the word, but not the correct name.

I've seen it spelled Shia as well as Shi'ite, and i've heard it pronounced "Shee-uh", as well as "Shee-ite"
