It does!
Thy Shall not Murder (Kill).

Suicide is self murder.
I wouldn't suggest it, Jesus can Help AnyBody!

But, if your Born-Again, you won't go to Hell.
Sad, but some Children of GOD do this thing.

It's a good question and one I have wondered about. It says your body is a temple and thou shall not kill and speaks about how important love is. Killing yourself pretty much goes against all of that. But it doesn't come flat out and say KILL YOURSELF AND GO TO HELL.

I have had both friends and relatives kill themselves and it hurts bad. I have often considered it myself. The bible says, " I will never put more on you than you can handle." But if someone kills themself did they get more than they can handle. My brother died, my mom just died, my dog just died and sometimes I hate life, if I thought for a minute that I could get to heaven by killing myslef I would do it RIGHT NOW. But something in my heart and my spirit tells me I would be in hell the minute I did it. So I press on trying to focus on Christ, pray and hope things change and wounds heal, and they always do.

Our good and very moral God, is concerned mainly that people contribute positively to solving the serious problem,s of this world so that we will have a better tomorrow. If you end your life irresponsibly, and do not do positive things, that you could have done, God will not be pleased. I believe in reincarnation, since God would want us to keep our focus on this reality, and not get distracted, by some alternative out of balance reality, somewhere else. There are sometimes good reasons to kill oneself or even to kill others, but you better have real good ones.

The Bible is clear. Read the 10 Commandments. Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill." Committing suicide is killing yourself. You kill yourself you have broken a commandment of God. I do believe that is pretty clear.

There is a commandment that says "Thou shalt not commit murder." Killing yourself is committing murder. It is a sin. If you are not saved and commit this sin you will probably end up in hell.

Because the people who said that the kingdom of god is waiting for them in heaven didn't want people killing themselves because then they would loose their income.
