i have often wondered that some of my friends said they have changed when they let god into there life for the better. I love god and believe in him 100% and know that he is watching over me. but how do i let him into my life? what excatly does that mean?

What you are asking about is surrender...
How do you surrender your will to God?
Well, you start by accepting Jesus Christ as Your Savior and asking Him to become the Lord of your life.
You confess your sins to God and ask for that cleansing. You ask for God to help you in everything that you do, say and think.
You ask God to help you to desire His will over your own will.
You read the Bible and pray. You ask God to reveal himself to you in the scriptures and open your spiritual eyes and ears to understand His word.
You ask God to give you the Holy Spirit as your comforter and as your guide.
You can also ask your friends, especially one who you believe is very dedicated to following God, to pray for you and teach you through the scriptures.
I pray that God will grow you up in your faith that you may learn of Him and have a close relationship with Him...because this will fill you with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and you can then walk in Love.

To believe in God is pretty easy. The difficult part is understanding that everyone of us would be doomed to everlasting hellfire because we have not kept God's law. We have to recognize that and realize the HUGE sacrifice God made in giving up His Son. Jesus walked into the court room and even though He didn't know us, He paid our fine! Recognize your sins (daily) and do your best to confess and repent of them (turn away and don't commit the sin again). Read Psalm 51. Then ask Jesus to come into your heart. He is faithful and you will feel a comforting hand on your shoulder. From then on, you will hear a still small voice telling you to make the right choice BEFORE you sin. That soft, quiet voice that some people call a conscience (meaning "with knowledge") will grow more or less prominent depending on whether you listen or fail to listen to it. Try to pray daily and read a chapter a day from both books of the Bible (THIS IS WAY HARDER THAN IT SOUNDS!) Soon, you'll be walking along, talking with your friend like He was right there with you. This is the relationship we hear about. One more thing! Things don't really get easier when you become a Christian. It's a difficult path full of stumbling blocks, hateful people, and the rise in hate crimes against Christians because of what some bad or even immature Christians do. God is drawing you to Him right now.
Jesus loves you. First of all you need to know the Name, Jesus. Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth & Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.
That is because Jesus is the Christ (anointed one) and is the Son of the Living God. He lived a life to show us the Way. He died on the cross. He shed His blood on the cross for remission of our sins. Since He Himself was sinless, sin couldn't keep Him in the grave. Jesus raised from the dead so we can raise up like Him in resurrection day complete.
Whosoever confesses Jesus Christ thier Lord & Savior and believes in their heart He raised from the dead shall be saved. So to let God into your life really means to ask Jesus into your heart. To be born from above.
It seems like you are at the age of accountability & are choosing God right now. So? Now is the best time to ask Jesus into your heart. If you know that God is watching over you. Jesus said that we need to take care how we treat the children, because their guardian angels do always behold the Fathers face. So? Your guardian angels will hear your confession to God & so, also God will hear. So? You can do this right now, looking up to God in Jesus Name.

Just like you let anyone else into your life. Talk to Him. He listens and He will answer. Often messages may come during sleep in the form of dream; or you may get a sense of "just knowing"; or even what appears as a passing event, a chance meeting can occur and suddenly you have a clearer understanding of what it means and "where" you are meant to go. Ask God for His guidance and He will be in your life.

okay so u want a relationship with God (i prefer to say relationship then religion)
all God asks of you to let him in your life is to accept it and let him into ur life that's all it is and thats all he is asking you to do if you want to have him in ur life don't believe this "the only way to have God in ur life is to get christened" or other crap like that coz its not...as long as God know u truly love him and want him in ur life then he will come into...he wants to be everyones life but they just block him out

What a good question! God is just there waiting for you to talk to Him. Get in a quiet place and just talk like you would to someone you want to get to know as a friend.....because that is what He wants to be to you. Tell Him everything that makes you happy, sad, scares you, your dreams....EVERYTHING! He wants to hear it...He has the time to listen! Just tell Him that you CHOOSE to be on His side and that you want to get to know Him. And then read His letter to you.....the Bible. Follow His instructions He left for you in there. I will pray for you to stay close to God and keep Him in your life.

Believe that Jesus, who is God, died for your sins on the cross and rose again. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins.
