A small sip and the strength of the wine depends on the whim of the church.
My fiance and I are recovering alcoholics and can't drink even a sip, so the local vicar blesses a small amount of cranberry juice.

Just a very small cup less than an ounce. Just a swallow actually in most protestant churches. don't know about Catholic or the protest churches that use real wine. Most use grape juice.

It's only given to coeliac's or other people who can't chow down on Jesus' body bit's. A friend who decided to nick some before told me it's very weak and tastes like vinegar.

About a thimble full.
It's a Port wine.
We also offer grape juice.
It's obvious you don't take Communion very often.
