my husband and i like a name for a son, however there is a problem. you see we like the name Azreil. It means many things, depending on the culture, etc. it also means some negative things such as angel of death, angel of light, but there is a good meaning one of God. So I was wondering if I should go ahead and name our son Azreil, since we both like or not and if anyone else knows a meaning of Azreil. or another way of spelling it and its meaning.

i assume it relies upon. i do in comparison to Roman, as that's the call of all and sundry from Rome and not actual a acceptance. i do in comparison to Kingston because of fact it jogs my memory of that song approximately leaving a sprint female in Kingston city. Sparticus!! i like it, yet, won't each and all of the youngsters in college arise and say "i'm SPARTICUS?". i admire which you have asked what we "fortress" of it!! Lol. October? OCTAVIUS! Now that's cool.

Dude I'm gonna be a good samaritan and beg that you don't name your kid Azreil. I know you think it's cool, and MAYBE it could be a middle name, but the kid is gonna have no shot with a name like that.

I think that if you both like it, then name him that. If anyone asks the meaning, give one of the "positive" associations.
I think its a unique, cool sounding name .
I work in a school and you would be suprised at how unusual names are getting these days.

I truly understand WHY you like this name but you have to be realistic about how society is and how it treats certain names. My husband and I I are planning to have children and have discussed names to great length and many names we like have been cast aside because of how they may be viewed in society. For example, we both like the name Osama, BUT our children will be both Moroccan AND American. The name Osama may be acceptable in Morocco, but will cause us nothing but grief in the US.

I certainly wouldn't give him that as a first name, maybe a middle name. Remember, when this kid goes to school he's going to be tortured by classmates about it.

Instead of picking a name "you and your husband like", how about - novel idea! - picking a name your child would like?!?

And I doubt very seriously it would be Azreil.

Do you really think your son would appreciate being named "Azreil"? Honestly?
