a pregnant woman's drug use wouldn't harm her fetus? Seems like an all-powerful, all-knowing God could have thought of a way to protect innocent babies. Did God drop the ball on this one?
I guess we'll have to do what we always do and wait for science to fix God's mistakes.

In retrospect, that last statement didn't really make much sense in this case. Leave me alone, I'm tired.

But God is all-knowing. He knew some women would use drugs while they were pregnant, why punish the innocent?
Jesus Myth Superstar -- you're absolutely right. Sometimes I get excited and I forget to maintain my objectivity. I'm not so thankful to science for the invention of nuclear weapons either.

While I would normally agree, science did come up with beauties like thalidomide, that's what happens when greed overcomes science.
If god designed us there is so very little that is intelligent about our design.

Exactly, why did he make birth so painful that drugs would be needed in the first place?
It was painful from day one, according to the Bible, so it's nothing to do with man creating the drugs, God made the process painful.
Sounds like a mistake to me, unless it was to teach us a lesson of some kind.

He created Natural order. Drugs are made to affect it. Ask your self why there are lots of ways to Id Your Body, Fingerprints, DNA Etc.Yet if someone needs your blood you can give it to a love one. Yes I know Blood transfusion is a science, but scientist didn't make the different types of blood types. And please, next time you try to accuse Theist as Dumb and bigots, just remember that you just said something REALLY Illogical and hoped no Christian would answer With a logical response.

Who's fault was it that the fetus was harmed in the first place? God doesn't make mistakes, humans do.

God did make everyone intelligently designed for every-bodies body to function with precision but; We, "mankind", have created all the pollution and unsafe chemicals that have brought us illnesses and birth defects. These are not God's doing but of Man.
GOD BLESS! AMEN! SHALOM!

I would say it's rushed and incompetent design!
He made all the best foods bad for you, gave drugs a negative effect, made men look very ugly (although he has to be commended for the creation of the woman), and he didn't make Monkey butlers!
Though what can you expect for 6 days work!

Firstly God gave us the gift of free will, therfore, we take medicines that we know will give us worse side effects than the actual sickness were wining about. So i ask you this, if science is so great and wonderful, than why do they make such imperfect medications, and if humans are so msart, why do we do stupid stuff that we know will hurt us? God gave us free will, gave us our own mind, he lets us choose what we want to do with it, its not gods fault humans are dumb- its ours, we allow ourselves to be stupid. If you allow God to move in your life, and work in it and make your life dedicated to him, he will bless you immensly and see that nothing will hurt you. put your faith in him. he never makes mistakes, only the imperfect humans that we are do.

Ridiculous...God didn't make the drug...man did. Man is the one who harms unborn babies. Illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco, abortion, 14 year old pregnant girls...
Geez....what an idiotic position to take..

It's more probable that everything is intelligently designed BUT certainly not everyone. The evidence is everywhere.
