Their best bet right now is the benevolent dictator that they currently have. If democracy wins there they will vote in Islamic extremists and then have nukes and Bin Laden.

Wow - good question!

I want to stay positive, so I'm going to say democracy. It depends on the people of Pakistan - let's hope they go for democracy. I just hope it's resolved with a minimum of violence. People have to calm down and stop fighting. The world is too small now for people to start a war over everything.

Pakistan is quite diverse in both Religious and Theology terms so I hope that both Democracy and Religion can sit side by side.

skylolo democracy is unislamic cuz of the ruling is done by the humans in it and the laws are passed a/c to the majority but in islamic caliphate there is no ruling by personal individuals or by any parliament but all by the laws given to us by almighty ALLAH and we just have to implement it through a caliphate so without it religion can never win

India is very religious and is also democratic. You can be a successful state founded on Islamic principles - just look at Turkey, secular in principle but still very much an Islamic nation.

that question requires us to assume there will be 1 clear cut winner, the tension may die down, but this underlying issue will always remain.

I suspect it will be violence that settles the problem.

So, whoever has the most force.
