If Moses, Jesus, and other bible characters existed, why couldn't characters from greek and nordic mythology exist. How can people believe in mythology? Bible is clearly a mythology, if Moses existed, characters from the greek mythology existed too.

What do you think will happen to you when you die? I'm just curioius because, being an Agnostic Christian, I believe/hope that I will go to the Other Side (aka heaven).

And I'm not trying to ask in a way that sounds smart-a**, I'm genuinely curious.

And three days in the grave. Well he needed a little rest. After all he had been roaming the hills preaching without a rest for awhile now.
Really what kind of a sacrifice was that? And how exactly did that pay for the sins of the world?

Fossils of dinosaurs, homosapians, plants older than 6000 years old, ect.

I've heard people say that they appear older than they really are. And some people say that they're fake.

I am just so intrigued as to why well educated people still believe in Creationism. It is still possible for people to believe in a universe that contains a god without there being creationism. For example it is still unknown as to what caused the Big Bang, this could have been god. It also doesn't disprove the bible either if creationism doesn't exsist. Jesus spoke in parables, who is to say that the book of Genesis isn't also a parable like story. Why keep an obviously disproven concept alive if it doesn't aid anyone or anything.

I myself do not believe in a god, but there is no definative proof for god's non existance so I can't garantee I'm right. Evolution however can and has been proven again and again. There are examples of organisms evolving all around us, along with fossil evidence,DNA evidence etc.

This is not an attack on anyone, and I know there are a lot of similar questions out there.I am just interseted to hear how & why Creationists explain away all this evidence

WATER IS CALLED BY DIFFERENT NAMES IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES – GOD IS CALLED BY DIFFERENT NAMES AS ALLAH, RAM OR JESUS

Question:

Water is called by different names in different languages: in English as water, in Hindi as paani, in Bengali as jaal / paani. Similarly if God is called either Allah, Ram or Jesus, is it not one and the same?

Assume that you make it to heaven, but your spouse and children have not joined you there. Does eternity worrying about loved ones burning in a lake of fire not break the idea that heaven is perfect? Has god not even in heaven condemed you to an eternity of misery and greif?
