DEAR SIR:

ACTUALLY in the KJV Bible there are ONLY "Less" that a HANDFUL of Scriptures that can even "Remotely" Be Construed 2 "Somehow" Support the REMOTE Possibility that Jesus is God ! ! !@

The WORD "Trinity" is NOT Even "in tHE Bible" and NEITHER is tHE "Teaching" !

Your "So-Called" 60 Proofs are JUST "Thin" Veneers of Scriptures Taken (OUT OF CONTEXT) !

The LAST Book of the Bible; Revelation WARNS against "Twisting" the Scriptures 2 (Your OWN) DESTRUCTION !

RESPECT (FULL) "Christian"

Of course, most of these ignore the trinity doctrine of 1 God, 3 persons. I will address the other (obvious) fallacies individually:

4) "Do these titles as used in Matthew 28:19 mean that there are three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead? No, they refer to three offices, roles, or relationship to humanity."

Mat 28:19
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

The verse commands that the apostles baptize in "the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit", not in "the role of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit" or any other such thing. Although it is true that this verse does *not* claim that these 3 are separate persons in one godhead, it is not for the reason cited.

5) Clearly, a reference to trinity. Apparently, the point here is that trinity is only mentioned once in scripture. Once is enough!

10) "Does the Bible say that there are two persons in the Godhead? No."

Does the bible say that there are *not* 2 persons in the godhead? No.

21) "Whom do some designate as the last person in the trinity? The Holy Ghost. But Jesus said that He was the first and last. Revelation 1:17-18"

The 1st created (Col 1:15) and also the 1st man to attain salvation and eternal life. The last prophet (Mar 12:6), the last Adam (1Co 15:45), and also the several "he who is first shall be last" verses come to mind.

22) "How many persons did John see sitting on the throne in heaven? One. Revelation 4:2."

Act 7:55
But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God;

That last verse certainly settles the issue - Jesus and the Father cannot be the same person.

41) "Does the Bible say that God alone treads upon the waves of the sea? Yes. Job 9:8"

Job 9:8
Who alone stretches out the heavens,
. . And tramples down the waves of the sea;

However, even if we accept the translation "tread", according to the doctrine of trinity, Jesus is God, so of course he could "tread on the waves of the sea".

56) "Can Trinitarians show that three divine persons were present when Jesus was baptized by John? Absolutely not. The one, omnipresent God used three simultaneous manifestations. Only one divine person was present--Jesus Christ the Lord."

Can unitarians show that 3 divine persons were not present when Jesus was baptized by John? Absolutely not. Then, of course, there is the transfiguration, during which (as during the baptism) the Father spoke from heaven while Jesus was present on earth in the flesh - and spoke of his son, not himself, in whom he was well-pleased. I just can't see God wasting his time saying "Look at me! I'm really happy with the way I turned out!"

All this site proves is that
1) trinitarian is a doctrine well-supported by the bible (but not the only such doctrine)
2) Jesus is divine (disproving the belief of those unitarians who claim that Jesus is not God)

query to the trinitarians.. could in case you men are incorrect and God isn't a trinity?. It could be very enormously not likely that God isn't Trinity considering that production itself isn't feasible with out the Trinity. Belief within the Trinity calls for a reward from God and are not able to be received through lecturers on my own considering that it's above motive. But after we mix the reward of religion with the proper knowledge of the lecturers, it is only no longer feasible for God to not be Trinity. So the reply in your query is if God isn't Trinity, all of our life is madness & meaningless.

I'm with Chris M. that it appears more of a questionnaire to challenge Trinitarians but also seems to ride the fence between the Unitarian and Trinitarian beliefs with more leanings to Jesus being His own Father.
Here's my one question that will answer all of our questions about the nature of God whether you are Trinitarian or Unitarian;
Why is it not an unforgivable sin to blaspheme God or His Son Jesus Christ but it is an unforgivable sin to blaspheme the Holy Ghost?
I will post this to recieve answers.

Not a single one provides proof, many of the verses are taken out of the context of the surrounding text, etc.

In short -- this entire page is bogus as to any 'proof'.

Heck, even calling it 60 proofs of the trinity is to lie about what the page actually does -- it simply answers 60 questions about the concept of the trinity, it makes little to no effort inmost of the questions to address whether trinitarian doctrine is true or false, most of them address the nature of the trinity, which asumes its existence.

The verse in the Bible which is closest to "Trinity" and is often quoted by Christian missionaries is the first Epistle of John, chapter 5 verse no 7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one."

In the Revised Standard Version of the Bible (R.S.V.) revised by 32 Christian scholars of the highest eminence backed by 50 different co-operating denominations, this verse which is the keystone of the Christian faith has been removed as an interpolation, as a fabrication and as a concoction. It has not been expunged from the Revised Standard Version of the Bible by the Muslims or by non-Christian scholars, but by 32 Christian scholars of the highest eminence backed by 50 different cooperating denominations as an interpolation, as a concoction and as a fabrication because this verse does not exist in the original manuscript. We Muslims must congratulate the galaxy of D.D.’s (Doctors of Divinity) who have been honest enough to eliminate another lie from the English R.S.V. Bible, thus bringing it closer to the teachings of Islam and the Glorious Qur’an.

I think that those really show no proof either way.

Let me ask you this though- at the end of Christ's life, several times he pleaded with the father- in one instance he even said, not my will but thine be done- Why would he say that if he was the father as well as the Son? Why would he plead with the Father like he did in the final days of his ministry?

These are not proofs of the Trinity at all. They are clearly based in a Unitarian understanding of theology and the godhead.

These "proofs" you speak of are put forth on a bad premise: that there is such a thing as the Christian God in the first place. It's a rather crucial point of contention, no?

Theology at its best. The stuff they come up with is amazing. Where does it end?

The whole thing is ridiculous. If there really was a god he/she would not or could not stop laughing at all the religious nonsense that is going on.
