The answer to your question lies in Ecclesiastes...
Chapter one would suggest that life is meaningless, pointless, vain, and a "chasing after the wind."
But after speaking about how everything is meaningless for twelve chapters, the wise one concludes:
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
-Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
God created all things for His glory.
We were created for His glory.
Life is for His glory.
When we fulfill our purpose, we find our purpose and fulfillment - and this is found in God, for He created us in His image, to be fulfilled in Him.
Thus, the chief end of man, or the chief purpose of man is this:
To glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
Outside of this truth...there is nothing but MEANINGLESSNESS.
-
By grace through faith in Jesus Christ, we are filled with the Holy Spirit...and the "fruit" of the Holy Spirit...which is love, joy, peace...
This is a life fulfilled, a full life, an abundant life.
When Jesus came, He did not come to condemn people, but to save them. He did not come to judge them, but to give them life - full life - eternal life!
HE is the fountain of living water...even living water, that if you drink from, you shall never thirst again!
Taste and see that the Lord is good!
The END of the matter is this...the END of the Bible is this:
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star. The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Revelation 22:16-17

So, COME!
YOU have been invited. (Zechariah 3:10)

Each one will have different way of looking at life and what it is for. To an optimist life will be fun, cheer and find it enjoyable, but for pessimist life will be dull and boring.

Good question! You won't hear any other creature on this earth ask that question either...so we are the "freaks" of nature.. It just happened..life evolved when conditions were right and here we are, if we didn't have superior intelligence to the other creatures, we wouldn't care.

It is now not what is was originally intended to be by God.
It was intended by God to be a time when us as His children grow to love Him out of our own free will for a finite period of time, while enjoying His favours in a place without suffering, no death, no decay, no sorrow. So life was for a time for us as God's children to learn to love Him freely, without being forced to love Him and once our time would end, we would painlessly, without dying, transition to another place, where we would be together with Him for an infinite amount of time, in a world without physical bounds, without limitations, in a world simply made out of love.
But, life has degenerated. We changed it by using our free will in a way that wasn't the most optimal, so to speak. So life is now the same sort of thing as it was intended - a finite time in a place bound by physical limitations, but where suffering, death, decay, sorrow and pain are now present (because we welcomed them to be present). Then there is still that same other world out there without physical bounds, where time is infinite where there is nothing but love, where one would spend an eternity with God. But to get there, it's not a simple transition now. We have to die first. So what is this life for now? It's for getting ready for the other, the true life. It's for doing things, and saying things, which will enable us to be part of that other life. In short, it is for earning the other, infinite, full of love and peace, life. Now there's a different kind of entry requirement so to speak to the other life, as opposed to the way it was meant to be originally. So this life is for us to earn and gain what is required to enter the other life and be part of it.

It is the deciding ground for where you will spend eternity. Read the Holy Bible for the details. I suggest you get a New Living translation, it is written in plain modern English.

I think were kinda like Gods pets...Like I have a dog that I love and adore, he has no real function except to give me love. And its my job to give him everything he wants and give him a great and happy life. so thats kinda like our relationship with God. were just here to love him, and he'll provide us with a happy and fulfilling life.

We are created through sex, usually by accident.
We survive as long as we can
We try to get as much pleasure as we can while we can
We die
