Yes, those are all Socratic style questions. Question where he's trying to test the knowledge of the one being questioned. For what purpose, who knows, since he already knows what they are thinking and what they know. I guess he questions to teach.

God questions but not as if He doesnt know the answer. Sometimes it is to test someones faith.

In my 31 years, I have called on god to show itself.
God refuses to show itself.
In my 31 years, I have seen many people try to tell me what god wants. And yet, god fails miserably to tell me what god wants.
My advice to you: stop listening to what other people would have you believe about god, and start listening to what you already know is true.
