I live in a fairly secular environment, my coworkers are non believers, my wife is a non believer, most of the people I associate with are non believers. When a Christian talks about their beliefs they are often laughed at or shrugged off. I have to admire their level of devotion to their beliefs, I mean where I am from they are the ones that have a heavier burden than I do.
They have no evidence to support their beliefs and most of their beliefs do not make any sense at all. I just can not see how any of this could be easy. Well Christians, I feel for you. Living your lives in a world that becomes more secular by the year must be difficult. I do not know how you can continue to have faith in this society. I sort of feel sorry for you. How do you keep it up?

We love God and we don't want or need your wimpy pity! You can save it for Satan and sinners!!!
Our metal is tested daily and it makes us strong and robust in our beliefs. I pity your unbelieve despite all the evidence that should make you conclude their is a God. I can't believe anyone could be so unable to elevate their thought life high enough for a moment to grasp the concept of God!

I was with you, right up until you said Christians have no evidence to support our beliefs. That is incorrect. We have loads of evidence, it's just that many Christians don't know about it. Their "faith" is enough for them. Well, faith wasn't enough for me. It still isn't.
Anyway, living in a secular society doesn't bother me...because I know who's in control. I also know how this story ends.
Have a nice day.

Christians have always been laughed at or worse in some societies. Fortunately we are free to express our beliefs (currently) in western societies.
Whilst it may be difficult sometimes (no-one likes being ridiculed) our trust in God and the hope we have makes it all worth while.
By the way I think my beliefs make perfect sense!

because Jesus himself said, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me...He who hates me hates my Father as well... But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.' John 15:18-21, 23, 25
now, i know the Bible quite extensively and i can truly tell you that what it teaches is true! there are sooooooo many scriptures like the one above. and how secular circles treat christians is no surprise to anyone who follows the Bible. it is by far easier today than in the first century! there was terrible persecution done to the christians. true atrocities of mankind. but they (christians) dumbfounded the non-believers killing them by singing songs while they died, and showing no fear to those who could make even the toughest men cringe in fear. and willingly still wanted to love and forgive those who treated them horribly. i hope that i could show that kind of love for those that don't deserve it. because i don't deserve God's love for what I did to Christ, but by his grace...i am what i am. and there is massive evidence to support belief in Christ. you just need to look outside your sphere of influence and just follow the evidence where ever it may lead you. just like a un-biased investigation. but there is no need to re-invent the wheel, you should watch "The case for Christ". a book/DVD about an atheist that investigated everything about Jesus Christ and who he claimed to be.

if they keep it to themselves , i don;t see there's any problem .
however i don't think non-believers are the one making their life miserable or what .
at the very least not in my country .
if they are those super ultra conversative christian , and start talking about the ' good news ' and etc , surely it would irritate another super ultra conservate hindu , muslim or buddhist .
of course those atheist , non-religious will mock at them .
for those christian who arent that religious , or perhaps believe differently , FOR EXAMPLE , i mean JUST FOR EXAMPLE , if they believe non-believer not necessary go to hell , then other chrisitan will criticise these people ... i have friends who believe it this way and he told me that he is aware that there are other chrisitian that feel this way about him..

Love is patient, it is kind, it is not self seeking,it does not brood over injury , it is long suffering and it indures all things.
This is how, and this is how it experiences victory when all is against it.

This is exactly how things went right before people realized Zeus and Ra weren't real. There are always a bunch of people who cling to it, but eventually it fades away.

Don't feel sorry for me. I'm quite happy. I know where I'm going. I'm content. I really don't care what others think about me. I'll die for my faith if need be. Thanks.
