Is satan really evil?

is man evil? the bible says that man is inclined to evil from his youth up.

Gen 8:21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart [is] evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

the devil is a personification of this undesireable characteristics of man. jesus was a man, so he too was inclined to evil, either that, or he was not a man.

if jesus was god in the flesh, then god is inclined to evil and responsible for evil and there is no devil.

Isa 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that [there is] none beside me. I [am] the LORD, and [there is] none else.


Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these [things].


in the bible, god takes accountability for evil. shouldn't man do the same rather than blaming a figment of our imagination?

He is evil by definition.

For example, he would enjoy if people did something purely evil like murdering an innocent person. Everyone sees this as self-evidently evil. More generic example can be hurting someone and making them suffer. This is viewed as evil. Satan likes to hurt people and wants them all to die. He is evil.

In the Bible, there are more things that are considered evil than what we may perceive as evil. For example fornication and sex outside marriage is a crime against God, therefore it is evil. Satan would like use to do those things because he wants this evil to happen.

Satan is evil and also a deceiver and will do anything to stop people b elieving in the wonderful grace of God that He has given to all. Satan is the original sinner and wants to take as many as possible with himself to the lake of fire.
The first recorded instance of sin took place in heaven. The angel Lucifer became ambitious to be equal with God. Isaiah 14:12-14. For this sin of pride, he was cast out of heaven, and became the one whom the Bible elsewhere describes as the devil or Satan.
The first instance of sin on earth is described in the Third Chapter of Genesis. It took place in the Garden of Eden. God forbid Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God, ate the forbidden fruit and thus became sinners.

Satan is evil and was created to be evil. Satan is not just in israel, Satan is also in all countries, Satan is everywhere. Satan causes war. So, if you are fighting, there is no "good" side and "bad" side. Both sides there are good and bad and Satan exists on both sides.
