Seriously. That's the million dollar question. If you can tell me one legitimate reason why God would create something he just couldn't stand, I will pick your answer as the best.

To "genius"- First of all, I believe that they don't choose to be gay, but that theya re born that way. Secondly, if they did choose to be gay, God knew they would choose that before He made them, and yet He still made them. And if God really didn't want gay people, then He wouldn't have created the concept.

To Bonita: Thanks for your comment, but God doesn't judge gay people, haters with a skewed vision of the Bible do.

They'll try to weasel out of it by claiming that homosexuality is some kind of choice...as if 10% of the human population woke up one morning and decided to change thier orientation.
Not one gay person I've ever actualy talked with on the subject ever made any kind of deliberate decision to "become" homosexual. It was part of who they were from birth...some of them just took a while to realize it. The evidence that it is purely biological is mounting.
But Christian homophobes won't tolerate the idea that homosexuality is a genetic or biological trait: Such an idea will suggest that their God really DID make them that way.
Then their heads will explode.

My 18 year old son is gay and I can assure you he did not wake up one morning and tell me this. He and I were both raised Christian. I realized quite some time ago that such a hateful way of living was not for me and of course he came to his senses on his own also. If you need to blame your ignorance on God for the way you believe then hide behind him. The way I read the bible, I seen the hatred for women to be most powerful.

Did God really create a gay? I believe God created persons whom God can share his overflowing joy. Being a gay is not a matter of creation, it is a matter of choice. God loves us all with our different choices.
God hates what some gays are doing. He hates also what some heteros are doing. The unloving acts of both the gays and the heteros sadden God. But, the persons of the gays and the heteros are precious to God.

I've always wondered the same thing. As a lesbian, I feel like I was destined for hell once I started reading the Bible to see what it had to say about homosexuality..it truly has been an internal struggle for me for the past 12 years of my life. Hopefully if you figure it out, let me know! LOL

God is love and out of love He created humans in His image (not physically but spiritually, intellectually,(in the same mind set that differs us from other creations) before the devil took over). He knew in advance of the choices we'd make, heart broken but still out of the very same love decided to give us a chance at life and in the end for us to see for ourselves personally the choices we made. So homosexuality is a choice and no God does not hate these people, He is no respecter of persons (whether they choose to be homosexual, murders, rapist, etc). It's us humans who twist the concepts of the Bible for our own satisfaction. He hates sin because it separates us from Him (this is why he extends the gift of Salvation to all of us) and choosing to sin definitely sets things in motion to be judged, but only He will judge us in the end according to our works and not the world. God bless

God DID NOT create gay people.
Romans ch1, explains that men departed from God, the Spirit of God left them and as a result evil spirits enter into them.
Caucasian may laugh, but there is a defiled evil spirit or spirits involved. When we His creature do not worship Him properly (ie sin), then we justly receive the recompense of our wickedness.
So, that is why a British gay would soon make his way even if he was in Japan, Thailand....etc fulfilling Romans 1:32......
...Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
So too, are the paedophiles. It is also another spiritual problem, departed from God and subsequently having evil spirit(s) entered into them and they revel and enjoy rather than repenting.

First we need to find out what makes people gay. At the moment, scientisists aren't sure whether it's genetic or down to upbringing and choice.
If it is genetic then.. well good question! But you could say the same for people who can't reproduce. And though this may seem unlikely, God might not actually hate homosexuals.. man wrote the Bible and so could have made mistakes or misinterpretated certain things. It's also been translated many times over the years and even a slight change could alter the meaning.
Maybe it was a challenge for people.. or a temptation like the forbidden fruit.
If it is down to upbringing and/or choice then you could argue that God didn't create them gay. He gave man freewill and the person chose to be gay.

He wouldn't. And didn't. It's just the religious right that "hates." Kind of ironic how they are the ones who hate others. It really isn't necessary to hate anyone. You can dislike your enemy, but spreading hate is simply not a viable way to participate in society.

God didn't create gay people. Adam and Eve were straight. Regardless, I think God loves gay people. Their sexual preference is said to be an abomination to Him but He loves them - at least as much as a disapproving biological mother or father does.

Are you trying to say that God makes you gay?
Everyday we come to a point where we have to make an decision of going one way or the other.
Becoming gay is controlled by these decisions and also caused by circumstances and events in the past.
Sure God may or may not like them, as women were made for men and men made for women, hench the "interlocking parts". That is not for us to decide in the end really. If a gay person loves God and ask him for understanding, he will not leave you. God loves everyone, even if they dont love him. Yes they might disappoint him, but that is our fault for not helping the non-believers towards Him.
