Technically Killing is Legal...sure if you murder someone your heading straight to the Death Penalty.

but at the same time if you join the Armed Forces and there is "conflict" in the world it is the job of our Branches(marines, navy, army) to kill or be killed.

anways back to your point i dont think breaking a law is sinful..after all the bible doesnt say speeding will give you a 1 way ticket to hell ya know?

so i would have to say no, whether you consider killing leagal or illegal(like the examples i posted), in the eyes of the one you worship, killing will always be sinful.

but here is a fun fact for you to chew on.

killing is sinful, yet the most killing in the world occurs because alot of murderers out there in the world kill "in the name of god" or "in the name of their religion"

but what do you think? if killing was legalized and someone (forbid the thought) someone murdered your rubber duckie....do u think it would be okay cause its legalized or would u consider it sinful?

Murder has in some cases been made legal . But even though the standard of obeying the law is used by some religious groups as a guide to sin the reverse does not hold true . Just because something is not illegal is not to say it is not sinful they are mutually exclusive venues with religion respecting the law.

The Bible commands us to obey our government, so long as the law lines up with the word of God. We are to obey God's law over the government, though. So if killing became legalized, even though the government condones it, it is still sinful because it breaks God's law. Hope that answer helps.

You are mixing 2 standards. God's standards, and societies standards.

As an example, in God's eyes homosexual behavior is a sin, but it is currently legal in most of the world.

If murder becomes 'legal' it is still a sin, as we are commanded against it.

Not honoring your parents is a sin, but not illegal, though it probably should be.

At one time, these kind of morality plays weren't relevant, as for the most part, all our laws were based on God's laws, now however there is little similarity any more, and society keeps spinning downhill....and everyone keeps scratching their head as to why.....

Crime is breaking the law of the land; while sin is doing what God says "don't" or not doing when God says "do."

So even if killing becomes legal, it is still sin because God said, "Thou shall not kill."

Let's look it the other way around. The state says it is legal to worship to Satan because of the "freedom of religion and beliefs" in the constitution; but God said, "thou shall not worship other Gods or anything in heaven, down on earth, or under earth..."

Using the Lord's name is vain isn't against the law but it is still a sin.

Yes, killing would still be a sin, regardless of whether or not our horrible judicial system finds it wrong.

Breaking the Government laws which conform to the teaching of God is both crime and sin.
Breaking the Government laws which contradict the teaching of God is crime not sin.
Doing something legal by Government order but prohibited in God's teaching is sin not crime.

Jesus broke a few laws, as did Daniel and his buds, and most of the NT heroes. Christians are exhorted to obey the laws of their land IN AS MUCH as it does not conflict with the natural law of God.. What Man declares is "legal" or "illegal" does not override what God said.
Quick acid test: The two greatest commandments are "love God" and "love your neighbor". If the law goes contrary to either of these precepts, it's a lousy law.

Decision of materialist judiciary has nothing to do with justice of god. these are only man made, society where we live etc.
Gods justice is totally different. God justice cannot be decided in ones life. The decision of almighty counts every seconds our positive and negative thought plus our recitation towards god. Its just like bank accounts of sins and good deeds, the resultant justice to a particular soul is given by god according to his birth, sufferings, good and sorrows activities.
Where as in society justice law is governed by us and punishment is given in order to improve the society. so getting rid of sins by this world's justice is no mater in term of God.
