We have free will and God can not force us to do anything unless He decides to stop loving us. (He gave Adam and Eve free will because He loved them, right?) If God stopped loving us, He would not be God anymore. So you see, He simply can not take free will away from us. If God can not do certain things, is He still All Mighty ?

Considering these two verses:
Matthew 7:6 - "Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.”

Matthew 13:10-11 - Then the disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" And he answered them, "To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given."

-
Is there any legitimate connection between these two verses?

Is there an implied mandate from Jesus Christ for Christians to be more subtle, abstract, and speak more in the form of parables, stories, and analogies to non-Christians?
…and only to explain them further to those who truly seem to be seeking truth?
-

Also, is preaching or proclaiming the Gospel of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ EVER a “casting of pearls before swine” or “throwing your pearls before pigs”?

Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

How can you believe in Evolution if you are a Christian? Does that not go against the Bible?

Ok, basically, I have an Uncle who believes alot of things differently. Yesterday I came to the realization of something.

it started with me being mad at my computer, then I thought, why was I mad at it, its a thing. Then I thought of kids and how angry they are. Then I thought, you know, are whole society is in a downfall. Then I thought, why? TV, Videogames, Movies, Music. I recently got rid of all my videogames and TV so I could personally grow. But then I took 1 step farther.

Last night I was talking to my parents about it, and how technology, tv and stuff, is destroying humans. I then led it into a religious side of it because I felt led to. Things like TV and movies teach this, stupidity is intelligence. Hatred is good. Sex is best outside of marraige. Swearing and taking God's name in vain is something thats funny. Killing people has no reprocussions. Lusting is fine. Breaking the law is legal. And reality is something you should hate.

Dear "Friend,"
I visited your Sunday school service and was overjoyed to see that many of your class members were absent. I was thrilled to see that those who came were late, or tired and sleepy during the Sunday School lesson and also the sermon.
I rejoiced in hearing some of the lessons that were not well-prepared, and that many of you just did not care. Of course, it is devilish to see some of you leave after Sunday school and not get your souls fed in the worship service.
Sunday is always one of my favorite days because that is the day I do some of my best work-getting Christians to stay home and watch television, or getting involved in sports and all sorts of "recreation."
I howl with laughter each time I see many of you fail to give much of your tithes and offerings; you make the board and minister squirm and fret over tight budgets and this takes away some of their effectiveness for the Enemy.
I hope you will miss services again this Sunday. Stay home where it is warm, and it will help you get used to the future climate. And one thing more-do not let them get you to become a "born again" Christian!
-Satan

Ok, so we’ve all heard that Islam does not condone killing non-Muslims (despite this being in stark contrast with many of the words of the Islamic prophet and many passages in the Koran). If that IS true, why are there so very many Muslims all across the globe who constantly pervert the "true message" of Islam? Why do they find so many theological arguments to support their terrorism (not least of all, Osama bin Laden)? Why do the words of so many Islamic terrorists and murderers often mimic the words of the Koran and Hadiths? Why, if the Islamic faith clearly stands in opposition to terrorism and murder, do so many Muslims feel so very differently?

For example, consider the Bali bombers:

I grew up in a Christain home, Sunday school was mandatory and I had to know my stuff. Now, later in life, involved in science, I question my childhood teachings. One thing, that even as a child always amazed me is how Christianity is based 110% on faith. Really when you look at science and the bible, there is no real concrete "proof" I know, I know, remember I went to Sunday school for years, but trust me, it is all hearsay and fatih based.

So my quesion is, that the idea behind Christianity is not to reject God and have faith. This is utimately our test in this life? Right? God wants us to have faith and accept him as our test in this life. Well, I can assure you that even if God stood in town square and announced and proved himself to be who he is, about 40% of the people on earth would probably still deny him. So why did God at some point in history not provide 100% proof, then let us accept him, or deni him? Isn't that the point of Christianity? Why is it JUST faith alone?

Just becuase I hear so many things about the catholic faith and would like to hear from a catholic to know what they believe.

JW's use the verse below to claim that Jesus is the archangel Michael. They say because it says "with the voice of an archangel" Jesus is an angel. However it also says with the trump of God. If having the voice of an archangel makes Him an angel wouldn't having the trump of God make Him God?

1Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
