Ok, so we’ve all heard that Islam does not condone killing non-Muslims (despite this being in stark contrast with many of the words of the Islamic prophet and many passages in the Koran). If that IS true, why are there so very many Muslims all across the globe who constantly pervert the "true message" of Islam? Why do they find so many theological arguments to support their terrorism (not least of all, Osama bin Laden)? Why do the words of so many Islamic terrorists and murderers often mimic the words of the Koran and Hadiths? Why, if the Islamic faith clearly stands in opposition to terrorism and murder, do so many Muslims feel so very differently?

C, the problem is that the people who misrepresent Christianity do NOT have religious backing -- any examination of their claims utterly disproves their validity. There is ample backing, however, in Islamic religious sources -- and terrorists realize that. This backing is indeed their inspiration! Read the words of the Bali bombers. Their regrets are only that they killed Muslims; the talk about the “delights” that await them in Muslim heaven; to them, it is a question about heaven and hell, and nothing more.

The first two answers to your question were terrible ! Your question had nothing to do with Christianity or Judaism, but these islamic-apologists couldn't resist trying to change the topic because they can't actually defend islam.
As usual, Rachel, you are 100% correct. You use facts and back up your facts with evidence and links. Your detractors have only insults and lies with which to unsuccessfully counter the reality you throw in their faces.
The only real mis-representation that muslims make of islam is when they claim that islam is a religion of peace, that terrorism is not part of islam, that women have more rights than non-muslims, or even that their prophet was not a pedophile (etc etc etc). These are all lies by muslims, and it's called Taqiyya- an intentional hiding of the truth in order to protect themselves from persecution and to protect their 'religion' (cult).
Obviously, not every muslim can be a suicide bomber, because there would be no islam left (no islam, what a nice thought!).
muslims use the logical fallacy that "only a few" bad muslims commit terror and therefore true islam is not about terrorism.
Of course, we know this is not true because the ones who are not terrorists SYMPATHIZE and SUPPORT the terrorists in their actions.

First I would just like to say are you aware of the millions of Muslim's around the world? The numbers of suicide bombers and so called terrorist activities in relation to the number of good Muslim people is very small when you really look at it. Also, when you speak of terrorist activities and non Muslims being killed are you aware that most times Muslims are being killed with these same acts of terrorism you speak of?
Who is to know why someone with a sick mind devises and plots to kill others and uses whatever means they choose to do so. Everyday people around the world are killing. Do we care if they say Jesus told us to, or God or Bush? Do we care if they use the excuse that they are the messiah? Of course not. So why would you think because some people choose to be delusional about writings in the Koran that it has anything to do with Islam?
For your knowledge the Quran says: God forbids you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes that you should show them kindness and deal justly with them.
I could list thousands of people who have killed in the name of religion....it is an old story...read. A terrorist is anyone who instills fear in another. Look in your own neighborhood...I am sure you will find many.
