I grew up in a Christain home, Sunday school was mandatory and I had to know my stuff. Now, later in life, involved in science, I question my childhood teachings. One thing, that even as a child always amazed me is how Christianity is based 110% on faith. Really when you look at science and the bible, there is no real concrete "proof" I know, I know, remember I went to Sunday school for years, but trust me, it is all hearsay and fatih based.
So my quesion is, that the idea behind Christianity is not to reject God and have faith. This is utimately our test in this life? Right? God wants us to have faith and accept him as our test in this life. Well, I can assure you that even if God stood in town square and announced and proved himself to be who he is, about 40% of the people on earth would probably still deny him. So why did God at some point in history not provide 100% proof, then let us accept him, or deni him? Isn't that the point of Christianity? Why is it JUST faith alone?

Read the veres here and look close to what vers John 20:29
Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.
Jn 20:25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.”
Jn 20:26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
Jn 20:27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Jn 20:28 Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
Jn 20:29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Jhn 3:19 "it is the judgment, that the mild has come into the international, and adult adult males loved the darkness really than the mild, for his or her deeds were evil. Jhn 3:20 "for all of us who does evil hates the mild, and does no longer come to the mild for concern that his deeds will be uncovered. having one's deeds uncovered at the same time as one is basically residing "accurate" besides isn't a lot of a judgement...

your right many people would still deny him. also faith shows more love than knowing for a fact. what would be greater love? following your girlfriend wherever she goes to make sure she doesnt cheat on you. or trust her and find out she didnt.

That's the day that it's all about. Didn't you learn about the return of our Lord when you were younger? Renew your faith and hang in there just a little longer.

I, too, find that exceptionally odd. If God truly existed, I'm sure, being so loving, he would manifest himself in some way. But noooooo, he had to leave no proof of his existence, and even leave evidence that contradicted his supposed "Word", i.e. evolution.

Because its basically a test. If he helps to much we'll rely to much on him. If he does to little we would stop believing?
