If you were stuck in a room for the rest of your life with a Wiccan, a Christian or an Atheist and had to listen to there beliefs for the rest of your days who would you rather be stuck with and why

I think the atheist would tend to be most proactive in helping me figuring a way out of there, and the Wiccan would be second best at that task. If there were in fact no possible way out, the Wiccan and I would at least share some beliefs and we'd probably get along well. The Christian might mostly wait for God to save him or her, and might start preaching to me. Actually, judging by the answers here, the Christian WOULD start preaching to me. If that happened long enough, and if we began starving in that room, I might decide to eat him or her to survive.

Hm... well, depending on the person, they can all go a bit crazy on their beliefs, but personally, I'd rather be in a room with a Wiccan. I find their beliefs interesting, and, no offense to Christians or Atheists, but most of them don't try to shove their beliefs down other people's throats as much as the other two. ...Again, no offense. Just that the Wiccans I've known will describe their belief, whereas an Atheist will more often than not mock other's beliefs, and a Christian will tell you to believe in God, or you won't be saved.

EDIT: War Games, your reply made me laugh. :P Don't know how many people go back to read other people's posts, but just wanted to get that out there.

I could learn the most from Wiccan because I know very little about them. I'd probably argue the most with a Christian because I know much about them and I disagree with them. I think I'm going to choose the atheist, though, because as an atheist myself I'm going to be stuck with one for the rest of my life anyway.

Would depend on the invidual. I've known members of all three belief systems that are obnoxious and closed-minded.

The Wiccan would be interesting, because that's a religion I don't know as much about as I would like.

The Christian would provide ample opportunity for debate.

The Atheist and I could agree on much and debate other things, as no two atheists are the same.

All three could get really, really tiresome after a while. So, I guess it would depend upon who has the shortest life expectancy.

I'd have to go with the Atheist. I've even heard some Wiccans with ideas I couldn't handle. I could handle listening to an entirely scientific perspective for the rest of my days.

A Wiccan.

Why? It would help me develop my own spirituality. Birds of a feather...

Or an atheist. Somehow, listening to an atheist talk about their beliefs isn't quite as bad a a Christian doing the same thing. Though under different circumstances (ie if they didn't just talk about their beliefs) anyone would be good.

An Atheist. I am one!

The truth, however, is that all faiths are trapped in a room with others of differing religions. I'm not trapped in a room with a Christian... yet I have to deal with their influence in the laws I live by. Actually, let me amend this: I have to deal with fundamentalist views. I have no problem with most Christians.

We had 9/11. But most of us have no problems with Muslims, nor they with us.

See what I'm getting at? If the other person in the room with me isn't intolerant of my views... then I'd likely be trapped with a friend, and the room becomes the problem rather than opposing faiths.

Well, I'm an atheist, so I would have to say Wiccan. With another atheist, well we agree, with a christian they would always try to covert, with the Wiccan we can have intelligent conversations about what we both believe.

An atheist would run out of beliefs really quickly. Christians make theirs up as they go and will comment on yours and how wrong they are.

I can;t think of anything for Wiccans.
