In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Daglas69, I don't believe you are serious even if you say it. Inside you there is an angle and this angle can not be replaced by a devil. You say you hate G-d but you don't.
How many times you hoped for something and it happened not only like you wanted it but even better? Did you ask yourself why you got that, it is because G-d loves you and if you don't pray to him you should at least love him or appreciate what he gives you, and I am sure you do although you tend to deny it.

Peace

merely sell out. forget on the subject of the song and the message you need to make, and easily reproduction the present day-day mainstream crap that enormous song is pumping out. you think of that's no longer the devil's artwork on exhibit good there? elect to be attentive to why devil doesnt merely seem in a tutor of flame and smoke with a freelance in his hand, promising you wealth and repute and fulfillment for no no longer undemanding artwork on your area? because of the fact your soul isnt well worth that lots. who're you? What are you? Dr. Faust grew to become right into a clever, noble, spectacular, and beneficiant soul. HIS soul grew to become into well worth something. Yours? you're admitting failure already. That makes you well worth.. how lots? no longer lots. Dont flatter your self. in case you elect to sell your souls or your song for a stable cost, lead them to well worth something first.

Try reading the Bible and praying a bit about it first or talking to someone you care about and who cares about you. Get their advice before turning to a life of unfulfillment and misery. All you need to do is break the Ten Commandments and all the laws of the Bible in order to lead an evil life. Just realize that at the time of your death, societies will not remember you as a good person or as someone who helped the world. Going around killing and worshipping sin, death, and Hell is enough to freak at least SOME people out ...

The devil doesn't buy. Why should he, when people are so willing to be taken? You say you hate God. I can tell you there is not one person who has not at some time cursed God in his heart. He will forgive it, if you ask.

You've already sold it before you asked this question and stated that you hate my Creator.God knows what you are thinking and what you do when you think no one is aware of you and he has a plan for you and others who agree with your statements.

He's not going to buy it, sorry to say. If you believe in the Christian stories, and seeing as how you're wanting to sell your soul to Satan you do, then he's not going to buy your soul. You clearly hate the CHristian God and will go to Hell anyway whether he buys your soul or not. WHy make a deal if he doesn't have to?

Get off the hallucinogenic substances: life will be better, you will not hate God or yourself, and you will be capable of earning money legitimately, rather than through absurd attempts at bartering your soul with the devil...therefore you will have no need to ask this question. :-)

How could you hate God? What has he done to make you so hateful? I mean, come on, He gave you life..

I understand your "miserable being". I'm not saying I don't believe you but I'm saying that you can change things depending on what your situation is. Pray about it. YES I said PRAY about it, whatever it may be and I promise you will be heard.
