Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

It appears no Christians answered (only a Jew and a Muslim) so I'll put this up to a vote.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Do I love someone who encourages me to disobey my own Lord and Cherisher? Do I love someone who tempted my parents Adam & Eve out of the garden, stripping them of their raiment and revealing their shame? Do I love Satan the persistant rebel who tries to encourage me to miss gaurding my prayers? Do I love Satan the one who will continue to annoy and seduce me into evil habits until death approaches me? Do I love Satan The rebel who tries every second of the day to lead me into the ETERNAL FIRE? Do I love Satan the rebel who always fails in his promises? Do I love Satan the deciever and the whisperer of evil?
Heell no!
The Holy Quran.Surah 22 (The Pilgrimage) verse 4. About the (Evil One) It is decreed that whoever Turns to him for friendship, Him will he lead astray, And he will guide him To the Penalty of the Fire.

No, because he does not exist, nor does God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Tooth Fairy, Zeus, Thor, Santa, the Invisible Pink Unicorn, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the celestial teapot, or any of those other things.

Oh wow like I never heard this one before but you have to know one thing we are to love our enemies which is absolutely correct but what you dont get is it means humans not Satan. No we are not to love Satan. He has come here to kill, steal and destroy your soul...no man can do that.

No. He's ok. But I really think the other characters are a lot funnier...especially Cartman.
He's better than Chef though. I'm so glad Chef is gone.
