Jer 18 is one place. GOD is the potter, and we be the clay pots.
Rom 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

I don't think it is really a full "story" in the Bible.
"Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?" Rom 9:21
"And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father." Rev 2:27
Though, I guess, Jeremiah 18 would be the closest thing to it. ;-)

Some great answers all ready, also in the book of Daniel, the ten toes and the miry clay, Jesus is the potter, if we let him he will mold us into His image. Our goal is to be Christ like. Clay can be shaped and formed fitted for the Masters use if we will allow it. Love your Question!!!

Isaiah 64:8
These words once again acknowledge Jehovah’s authority as Father, or Life-Giver. (Job 10:9) Jews who repent are compared to malleable clay. Those who respond to Jehovah’s discipline can in a figurative way be shaped, or formed, in harmony with God’s standards. But this can be accomplished only if Jehovah, the Potter, extends forgiveness. Hence, Isaiah twice appeals to him to remember that the Jews are his people:
“Now, OÂ Jehovah, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are our Potter; and all of us are the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8)
