Does anyone else find it odd that they have some of the higest rates of teen pregnancy, murder and general incarceration?

As well if you look at a graph the red states which tend to be more conservative christian states have even higher crime rates?

Shouldn't the most christian nation on earth be a model of civility for the rest of the world to follow?

brought me some cloths and took me to church. And then we stoped of at macdonlds on the way to dropping me of home, and during and after the church service I felt oppressed so badky I was swearing so much, I took things that people said to me as an insult and stormed of, I was swearing in the house of God, and should not have done that. My sister said that she has never seen me like this before. I believe satan is trying to destroy me, and on the way back to droping of me I rebuked all powers of the enemy in the name of Jesus and I feel calmer now. My sister wants me to get rid of this computor. Now chrisitan brothers and sisters I feel she is right. I get tempted to jump on this computor everyday, and I feel this is taking away time I could be spending with God. If I see my sister this saturday that is if, we will get rid of this computor and throw it out so I will nto have any more bad influenced on this internet. This is where satan likes to attack. He uses other people to attack

After reading the question about how to rid your house of evil spirits after playing with a Oujia board... I found out this guy is stupid...

Looking at his profile's one answer it appears as though he was an atheist until he started playing with the oujia board... now he can't get rid of the "evil spirits"...

How stupid can you be?

Summary Answer:
Unbelievers are described by Muhammad as "the vilest of animals" and "losers." Christians and Jews are hated by Allah to the extent that they are destined for eternal doom as a result of their beliefs. It would make no sense for Muhammad to then recommend them to be taken in as friends by Muslims. In fact, the Qur'an plainly commands believers not to take unbelievers as friends.

The Qur'an:

Sura (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

Sura (5:80) - "You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide." Those Muslims who befriend unbelievers will abide in hell.

I have heard many nonbelievers (of a higher power) say that they are grateful for their current life. I understand that they might have a feeling of gratitude but how can there be any reality behind the feeling? Everything is an accident (no purpose), then how can we express gratitude to an accident?

It reads, "Then a voice from heaven was heard, "Thou art my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." - Mat 17.

Most people turn a blind eye to this, but it is so important. Historical Church commentaries provide what this verse actually reads as, "Then a voice from heaven was heard: 'Thou art my Son, today have I begotten Thee'. Not only is this correct version shown in Hebrews 1:5, Psalm 2:7 but it is documented in nearly every early Christian writing by church fathers and just inspired Christians pre-Nicene (4th century A.D). Why do you think it was changed and why do you think it has never been corrected within our bibles?

"The Last Supper depicts the final meal that Jesus took with his disciples, when he instituted the communion service. This was a traditional subject for the decoration of convent refectories. The earthly tables of the monks echoed the sacred table of the Gospels; the temporal world met the eternal....

He(DaVinci) chose to represent not Jesus' institution of the Eucharist (although the bread and wine are there in front of him) but the moment when he tells the disciples that one of them will betray him."

This is the coolest painting I have ever seen. There is so much depth in the disciples expressions. What does it all mean to you? Heres a link to the picture(which i suggest blowing up to see all the detail) along with some very interesting commentary. I recommend the 'Serge Bramly on The Last Supper' section : http://www.bringyou.to/apologetics/LeonardoLastSupper.htm
