I am serious.
If you do not believe in God you will go to hell.
Your dog is not there.
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

All I can do is speculate. I spent some time going to a spiritualist church where they gave messages from those who had passed on and they claimed to sense the presences of animals in the spirit world. It would be nice if our spirits and those of our animals continued to exist in a spirit world but since there are so many different beliefs about what happens after we die I wonder who really knows the truth. Grief can be a difficult thing to experience but its something we all have to go through at different points in our lives. As difficult as it can be, one needs to slowly work towards acceptance of losing loved ones. I hope you find an answer that helps you through it.

Death is the end, at least as far as I know. If its not well I guess I'll find out when I get there. If you linger on death and loss you will find it all to soon and mourn over it far too long, its best just to deal with life and leave thoughts of death for when you die. I do know how you feel though its always hard to lose a pet you really care about no matter what you believe happens to them after they are gone.

I believe animals do not have individual souls, but participate in the spirit of their species. However, dogs and horses may be somewhat of an exception due to their unique relationship to humans. (Cats are admittedly more animal-like in behavior.) If you put that individuality into the dog, then you are her Goddess. So she will be there for you when you cross over.
As to what I believe happens to humans, I think we go to a way station, not unlike a large train station, only much cleaner and nicer, where we have time to evaluate the life we just finished, what we learned and what we failed to learn, and decide what we still need. Then we choose our new parents and are born again. Keep doing it until we get it right.

I'm sorry for the loss of your pet and from experience, I know it's very painful. You tell me not to tell you to go to God, so I'll not do that. I will tell you that my belief is that God has created all there is that is good. He created your dog just as He created you. God's Word tells us that "All nature knows there is a God..." (including you). Humans are His only creation, however, that God gave free will, therefore, He will provide for your dog in His way and I do firmly believe that your dog will have an afterlife with God because he had no choice of rejecting God as you do. So, according to my belief, it's up to you whether you see your dog in your own afterlife depending upon the decision you make regarding accepting or rejecting God.

When you leave the body you are in at present, the Spirit (you) returns to the Source. You will be reunited with all those that you loved including your dog. That's what I believe.

i'm sorry about your dog...i've been there...i wish i could help you, but...first, i simply do not know if there is an afterlife for dogs, although a big part of me hopes there is-but, beyond that...btw, if you want serious answers, it's really not helpful to tell people how they can and cannot answer your question-if you're just looking for someone to tell you what you want to hear, you can do that in front of the mirror

Your dog has no soul and there for just rots in the ground. I wished when your dog dies you get to see them again but that doesnt happen. When one dies they either go to heaven or hell.
