Nothing wrong with Prosperity...Something always goes wrong when some person who claims to be a Prophet and leads people to sell their homes and give up their possessions and to drink the poison Kool Aid.

Look at the History of Mass Suicides...typically at the center is a charismatic figure who calls himself a Prophet. Look towards yourself for your direction....Its better to have ideas than beliefs.

Depends on which Prophet you mean. If you mean the book by Kahlil Gibran, I remember it fondly but I don't currently have a copy. Other prophets must be judged on the success of their prophecies, which usually takes a good bit of time. Note, too, that prophecy is different from prediction. Prophecy warns that if you don't change your ways, this dreadful thing will happen, or offers hope that some good thing is possible. Prediction tends to be fatalistic: no matter what you do, this will happen. I read the Tarot cards more as prophecy than as prediction, as I have done for some 35 years.

Profit is not inherently a bad thing. The whole question becomes whether or not you earned it honestly. If you risk your money to support a new business, and that business prospers because it provides a product or service the public wants at a fair price, with honest advertising, sensible packaging, etc., then that profit is perfectly valid and honorable. If, on the other hand, you put that money into some cheap razzle dazzle for the purpose of selling something worthless to suckers, I would not be inclined to brag about it if I were you.

Prophets can make profit but in the end profit is the more important of the two.

Well since you take Profit to the Bank, while Prophet only goes to the Church, it is self evident!

Prophet..... but of course!

Profit can be made by Drugs, Porn, Cheatind and Stealing... and yet Ultimatly LEAD TO DEATH!

(Mark 8:36-37-38) For what shall it = = = profit a man [ or woman ],= = = if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

(Mar 8:37) Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

(Mar 8:38) Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Thanks, RR

Profits make the world go crazy
(people are lured by it for selfish reasons)
Prophets makes the world go round
(people are lured to them because of good reasons)

In 20th century America profit is the best.
The Jewish influence in Hollywood and the meida have made it so. The greed and the idolatry of the Christian citizens shamefully went along with anti-Christian Jewish philosophy.
