I believe most religions have a great deal to say about economics. Generally, the support a concept of generosity, benevolence, helping those less fortunate out of compassion. Some require this to be passed through the church, in the form of tithes, but many do not.

I also think they generally support justice and fairness in economic matters, as they see it, although some significant differences may exist as to what economic systems are more or less just and fair.

And there are those which contend that whatever your economic status, God put you there, and you should be content with it. These tend to support the idea that a rich man is rewarded by God, rather than the way I see it, that he has a higher level of responsibility along with that increased pile of money.

actually, money is written about in dozens, if not hundreds of passages in the bible. read the books of proverbs and ecclesiastes in particular. there are all kinds of things about money management in those books.

just one example:

''give a serving to seven, and also to eight, for you do not know what evil will be on the earth.'' ecclesiastes 11:2

this verse is telling us to diversify our investments. basically what solomon is saying is ''don't put all your eggs in one basket.'' anyone who has made any kind of sound investment at any time knows the benefit of spreading out your money. you're almost guaranteed to lose money if you sink everything into one company's stock alone.

there's tons of stuff like this in the bible. you just have to look for it. seek, and you shall find...

visit this site and type ''money'' in the search bar for more passages.

They get their money from their believers. Start talking about economics and everyone will start questioning why the churches get tax benefits etc etc etc. They're looking out for themselves.
