People follow their false beliefs all the time.

Truth has no value for them. They choose what they want regardless of the facts.

Also world is full of ignorace people.

The media portraits Middle East and Islam as Evil and US as Good in the battle of Evil Vs. Good.

So, of course, some, might consider you a traitor because you chose the other side.

However, I met many Christian American who hate the US policies in Iraq and are a big supporters to the Palestinians.

It seems to me that you can't seem to take criticism very well. I don't know exactly what people say to you, I only have your word. I don't know if they actually say the word "traitor" or you think they think that when they criticize your view.

If it makes you feel any better, people who have right of center views, who express those views, also might get called names. Like "fascist", or "right wing nutcase".

So, you are in good company.

And for the record, when you say you support the Palestinians, do you include support for the wanton murder of innocents via suicide bombing? Because if the answer is "yes" then you may not be a traitor but that does mean you are morally bankrupt.

It offends them because they are threatened by Islam. Such a powerful religion, and they obviously hate the mid-east bcuz ppl are mainly muslim over there. Dont worry abt it, u r not a traitor for thinking and having an opinion. I thought the US was a free country. So much for freedom of speech!

Your geographic location is obviously one with limited exposure to foreign cultures; as such xenophobia and out right racism is not unexpected.

The current socio-political climate in the United States exacerbates these problems, but this is no new development. Sixty years ago you would have been called a traitor for having an interest in Russia.

It makes you an intelligent thinking person who understands that a few terrorists can't and don't represent all of Islam. I know some lovely Muslims and yes the war in Iraq is illegal.

Being a supporter of Palestine doesn't make you a traitor. But remember that Palestine has consistently used terrorism to accomplish their goals, and terrorism is the enemy of this nation and should be opposed in all form. The Hamas government right now is supporter of terrorism, and supporting them makes anyone a traitor.

What are you saying? You like all Muslims? What do you say it to your family for? Just to stir up trouble? You KNOW the US is at war in Iraq! Why would you even start telling people you like all Muslims unless you knew them all, and you weren't looking to cause animosity with friends and family, who are probably patriotic Americans?

Can't you like all Muslims quietly, to yourself?

People are compliant and hypocrite too; they got that oil anyway, didn't they?

Besides, admitting it was wrong, aren't they supposed to give back everything that was stolen or ripped for them?
