I've always wondered how many atheists convert and believe in God at the last minute on their deathbed, when the nothingness they espouse is looming before them all too closely. How many people think that Paschal's Wager starts to look pretty good to them in the last moments of life?

Matthew 27:3-5
When Judas, his betrayer, saw that he was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, saying, "I have sinned in betraying innocent blood." They said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself." And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself.

Acts 1:18
Now this man [Judas] bought a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.

Matthew said that Judas committed suicide by hanging himself while Luke said Judas fell off a precipice. Note also that Matthew said Judas gave the money back to the chief priests while Luke said that Judas used the money to buy a plot of land.

Which is it? Did Judas throw the money down in the temple, or buy land with it?

So many people only read the parts that justify their view yet they claim they follow the bible and don't read the enire thing. For example people read and quote Deuteronomy 14:3-18 but do not take time to read Isaiah 11:6-9 or Gospel of the Holy Twelve. I just don't understand why someone would misinterpret the bible and claim they are following gods wishes.

mainly with the New Testament? Why don't people dispute and argue about wordings of the Old Testament? Get your interlinear Bibles or your dozens of different "English" language translations and compare wordings in the Old Testament. You may see they are all basically the same. I think it is because the Hebrew writters of the Old Testament worded it in such a way that there is no room for changing the words to suit your different version of view. How about this question...in other nations where they use the Bible written in their own Language (ie German, Japanese, Spanish, French, Russian, etc) do they have as many different versions of their Bible as we do for the English Language? I mean how many different ways do we need to word the Bible before someone actually feels they have it right? Why can't we just learn Hebrew and Greek and know what the Bible actually says?....before you say it...Yes I am learning Hebrew and Greek now...What are your thoughts on this?

The question posed is this: Why should I, if I don't believe in an afterlife or a supreme being, not be a mass murderer? If all that exists is here and now, what possible difference does it matter if I go out and commit wholesale slaughter, just for the fun of doing it? If there are no consequences to me outside of this life, and that's what I really want to do, why shouldn't I do it? What is the basis of any question of morality? Isn't morality what I decide is good or bad? Who's to disagree with me, and by what authority? Yes, there are laws, but if I'm willing to live with the legal consequences, why shouldn't I just go out and kill anyone and everyone I see? And what if I just go out and kill people who do things I think are wrong? What if I let you decide who I should kill? Even better, what if I post a forum on the entire world wide web and let people vote, then go kill those everyone wants killed?

It is ALL A GAME TO ME. I like playing the Yahoo Card games. I like going to the sports (Games) sites. The only time I take something on the internet seriously is when I am communicating with my mother, brother and father on messenger or email. The rest is just games. Go ahead report my questions and answers because you are offended. I am sorry you people that get so easily offended by words on a computer screen from SOMEONE YOU WILL NEVER MEET. I don't. I just laugh at it. Fact is that is why I particapate in this nonsense. I like to see who can ask the stupidest question and give the most radical answers. It amuses me. I like to voice my opinion and see how many of people gets their feathers ruffled. It doesn't bother me. What concerns me is my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ, my family, my job, the people I associate at my Church and my job, the community I live in and the city I live in. These things concern me. What are your thoughts on this?

When I go deep into a meditation I find my hands and arms are raised and I then feel a powerful ball of energy between my hands. I also find my hands going into a prayer position or forming the sign of a cross. Does anyone else experience this?

Even if you don't this is a great thing for anyone to do. One of my favorite passages of scripture is Isaiah 40:31. It says,

"but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."

It says that when we wait upon the Lord we will renew our strength. God loves it when His people will wait in His presence. And when we do, praise God, He will give us strength to go and live for Him. So my question is, when was the last time you went into your closet, and just waited in the presence of the Lord? How long has it been since you knelt by your bed, and talked to the Lord up in heaven? How long since you went to the altar and grabbed ahold of the horns and not let go until the Lord poured Himself out on you? God bless you guys today.
