Hello when God made mankind He gave us the power of choice, Love in order to be Love must have the right to say NO, okay mankind choose to sin, in Genesis 3:15 God told man that someday He would come [Jesus] and destroy the effects and curse of sin and satan, in Isaiah 14:12-15 we understand what the answer to your quetion is as to what Jesus saves you from, satan and because we take his nature have a "i" problem the greatest thing God saves you from is yourself, from the greatest form of slavery this world has or will ever know, from self, if you want to read what God is really like check out Isaiah 53, by the way in John first chapter and in Heb.13:8 we read Jesus was that person in Gen.3:15 and He wants to save you too, find out details for free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org God bless you.

Cool question. I thought he was saving us From things -- the things that we realize are a threat, like sin, meanness, enemies, illness, debt. But if He's saving me For something, yeah, He's got a place for me where He wants me live where I can be safe and happy and we can enjoy our friendship with no worries.

If you're religious just have faith that whatever God is saving you for; is something good. If you keep trying to figure out his purpose, you're going to go insane! The world of religion, faith etc... is quite weird. One day or never we'll find out.

He saving you from your sins! He died on the cross for everyone if you believe that you are saved then if not you are on your way to hell.
