at war for god, in the abrahamic religions god is an omnipotent being, yet some people say they ar at war for god....does this make any sense to you because i can`t understand why would an omnipotent entity need the help of some ordinary people...and i`m not talking about the figurative sense of the word "war"

How can you go to war for God, since God tells you not to kill? Those are definately people's inventions, inventions of sick minds who can't explain their abnormal behaviour any way else, so they find a reason for their actions that could fool others. And since the church is a big power in any country, it's the perfect weapon.

It's their way of saying "Let's go to war so that I can have more land, money, subjects and power while you can do all the dirty work! Of course, I'm not going to tell you that, instead I'm going to add religion into the mix as an excuse to work you up into a heated, bloodthirsty frenzy!"
