Why want fans, they are like acquaintances, you may or may not know their names, but they are there until you fail, then you're history.

I was an artist with a following. Fans drove me crazy. People didn't buy my work at shows as often as someone asking me to sign my name on a show program or worse, a dinner napkin.

I am just getting back to my art now. I have the support of family and friends. If I get back into the mainstream, I will exhibit my work under an alias and keep my private life, private.

Friends are better than fans. Its better to be popular with those you can trust and care for you with sincerity.

Nice offer though, but somethings you can't buy, you can rent it for a while, but when the ride is over, the crash damage can be permanent!!!!

Just send one of those new Nokia N95 cell phones that this Earthlings are selling, to this address and I promise I'll become a fan of yours:

24/d Eston crater, Publa, Mars.

If you provide accessories, I might give you a sample of the rock segments we found in the Moon.

Stop dribbling nonsense and ask questions, or answer questions with wisdom. After folks read your fine and intelegent posts, they will want to be your fans...
Unless you are offering a truth too hard too swallow... in which case you wouldn't have asked this question anyway.
I will keep an eye on you, and who knows... I may yet turn out to be a fan.

Yahushua Shalom

Maybe you don't have 'lectricity where you are? Try waving a sheet of cardboard in front of your face. I've seen hundreds do it at graduation ceremonies over the past 50-60 years. Seems to work for them.

I checked. You've got three. But you have not made any contacts, and that is you taking the initiative. Then that person gets an email saying you have added them as a contact (if they have this feature enabled, which I do), and they are given the option of adding you as their contact. These two functions are reciprocal: I name you a contact, you see me on your fans list. You name me as a contact, I see you on my fans list.

It doesn't mean you're not a good person or anything, ya know. It just means that no ones really ZOOOOOMED in on any certain answers of yours and said to themselves, "Hey, this person's cool for that answer! I wonder what ELSE they're about...Let me connect!" You're still warm fuzzy with no Fans and God still loves ya, precious!

I've added you to my contacts, so there - you've got one. But this fan's status as your fan may be revoked at any moment, so make it worth my while. ;-) I don't know your q/a style yet, so I may end up having to rescind my fan-ship at some point, depending on whether or not I find any disturbing, dark "ickiness" in the ethers with your name on it. I'll try not to, of course, but there are no guarantees. ;-)

Well you promise a lot but so do most of the presidential candidates out there now. I would believe you would give me what you promised in your question before any President would!

Maybe if you weren't so focused on looking for fans, you might be able to come up with something good to ask.

Popularity has a lot to do with it.

I don't even know if I have any at all... care to have a look, anyone?
