I don't know about you, but no sin I've committed is bad enough for me to go to Hell with or without forgiveness. I also don't see how its "supreme justice" for all of humanity to be punished based on the actions of Adam and Eve. I'm not saying I don't believe in God, but I think humans have really wrecked getting the proper story out there. Sorry, but there's no way I believe I deserve to go to Hell due to my sinful nature. I am a good person and I do not deserve eternity in a lake of fire. Neither do you. Unless you're dumb enough to think you do, and then maybe you do.

On average, how many hours do you give to God, to study his heart (the Word)?

Thank you for your answers.
(PS- Please, be respectful, non-believers.))

Or is there a balance? Deny yourself? Love your neighbor as yourself? Don't be a lover of yourself? Love God? Fellowship? I am confused, please enlighten me. Is Mother Theresa the only one that has Christianity correct?

If the whole trinity bit is as it's supposed to be, wouldn't that mean that God had himself killed?

And isn't it cheating to just kill part of yourself?

Dosn't that qualify as self harm?

Since when did someone self harming cleanse other people's sins?

Fellow Muslims, I found this on one Islamic Forum. What's all this? Read below:-

'It might sound like fiction, but would it harm Muslims if they discover that Charles Darwin actually studied about the evolution from his Grand Father who actually got the whole idea from ancient Muslim philosophers [Ibn Arabi and Ib Khaldoon? I think it was going to come out sooner or later..a fact not fiction.

This new book : Shajara Code Decoded is going to make radical change in Muslims thinking. It was published in Sudan last february on limited scale, now it is coming out in USA and UK, both in Arabic and English... proving Darwin Theory to the letter and the Haj 'pilgrimage is representation of the missing link. I have read its Arabic form which was called 'Ears of the cattle'..It made many scholars in Sudan speachless..Please see this website..Insha Allah it will open big door for Dawah..'

and expound the most of Christian 'values' ....

seem to be the ones with the least love in their hearts? Like maybe they don't 'get' it yet and are still trying to find 'the answer' in a book instead of in God?

I'm not trying to be mean, but this is my honest observation.

A question for theists of any belief:

Where does the "soul" come from? Is it a reincarnated spirit recycled, or does each living person get a brand-new, fresh off the lot one?

Law by nature must be clear and specific. Therefore, it requireds constant expansion and clarification to accurately apply it to all the difernt situations that continue to arise. The religious leaders in Israel added a great body f oral law to the Law of Moses received at Mt. Sinai

Many preachers of tithing vigorously deny that they are preaching a law, but it fits the profile perfectly. There are as many opinions of how tithing should be done as there are preachers who promotes it. This should be an indication to perceptive Christians that it is not the Holy Spirit's plan for us today.

Consider the following questions and issues that relate to tithing:

1. Do you tithe on gross income before taxes or net income after taxes ?

2. Does the tithe have to be the very first thing paid when you receive income?

3. Does the whole tithe have to go to your local church?

4. Are you obligated to tithe if your spouse does not agree to it?

that the return to animal behavior is required for mankind to survive - live and let die, only the strong survive.
No more human dignity, moral accountability, and universal human rights. What basis would you have for rejecting it?

I've read responses saying the NWT is only scripture in plain english, and that's why Jehovah Witnesses use it ---

However, New International Version is simple language, Contemporary English Version ~ plain language, the New King James Version ~ easy to understand...

AND YET: These versions all contradict yours in selected references. These versions are all accepted as accurate translations of Bible, whereas yours is not.

So, if you really wanted to persuade people of your 'sound doctrine' why don't you accept to use any of these translations? People would give you much more merit. Is it because your version has references changed and taken out of context to fit the Watchtower Society fictional hypotheisis?

I know that they rely on their magazines, and that they will be disfellowshipped and "fall away" if they study without their watchtower magazine, but has anyone ever been converted to the Jehovas Witness religion by reading the bible and praying about which church is true? Or are the weak just preyed on by the door knockers? Please, no attack I am just curious.

I was surfing the tv channels one night and this televangelist actually preached that the reported UFOs are angels who have been "kicked out" of heaven ... that they are "fallen angels". In other words, he is preaching that these sightings can not be governmental spacecraft nor possibly more tehnologically-advanced life forms from other areas of the cosmos. How in the heck can people preach this garbage and where do they get the funding to broadcast this ridiculous rhetoric? I find it outrageous and misleading! This minister ought to be locked up in the funny farm. Do you agree or disagree and why? http://www.jvim.com/

"everything" as in every human, and the planet upon which He placed us, and the trees and the animals He gave us to keep us company.

If you were to love everything selflessly, who would find justifiable fault with you?

And what is wrong with this? That you must give up selfishness? Give up hate? Give up fear and distrust?

Isn't that what He wanted, and isn't that what you've promised to give Him?

Why choose ignorance when you can choose wisdom? Every decision you make requires you to make that choice first.

But you -do- have to think before you choose.

Ain't life unfair?

but I have found many , many quotes from your very own Watchtower that says you do feel that way..in fact the organization is your Mother..and God is the Father too..

here is one quote from your Watchtower..

Jehovah's Witnesses are identified as God's prophet to the nations for today (Watchtower, 15 January 1959, pp. 40-41

So, why do you keep saying that you have never claimed that?
