Isn't the holy spirit Marys heavenly father? So then Mary is Jesus mother/sister...and god has offspring with his offspring?...and this is the best plan God could come up with? What about Adam and Eves kids committing incest too? Not too bright a plan.

Yes, Jesus was conceived and born by a virgin named Mary. The father of Jesus is the Holy Spirit or God. That is why Jesus is called the Son of God, the only begotten son of God. It was through the power of the Holy Spirit that He made a virgin to conceive. This was prophesied about 700 years earlier by the prophet Isaiah, to wit (Isaiah 7:14): “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Did you know that Mary doubted what angel Gabriel told her that she would give birth to a son to be named Jesus? She was a virgin and had not known a man (Luke 1:31-34). As a confirmation of what he announced, the angel told her that her cousin Elizabeth who was old and barren was already in her sixth month of pregnancy.
In her desire to know if the angel was telling the truth, she hastily went to Hebron in the hill country of Judah where Elizabeth lived (Luke 1:39). Did you know that that place is more than 100 km south of Nazareth where Mary lived? Did you know that that place is about three to four days walk away from Nazareth? What did she find? True to what the angel said, she found the old and barren Elizabeth to really be six months pregnant and her husband was mute because of his unbelief. And in order to know that she was really carrying a child, she stayed with her for three months before she returned to Nazareth (Luke 1:56). Who is the son of Elizabeth? He was John the Baptist.
And we know that the Blessed Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus in a cave in Bethlehem. Did you know the date? The Holy Spirit we talk to said that it was on May 23 which I found to be correct after 23 years since I first heard this date. And the year was 33 BC. You may see the results of my study in the source website below.
As Jesus said to doubting Thomas in John 20:29: “Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

I personally do not believe that Jesus was born of a virgin. This is just not how life works. And anyway, why does he have to have a miraculous birth in order to be a great teacher and helper of mankind? And wasn't his birth miraculous enough already with being foretold by prophecy and looked forward to by the great spiritual masters of that time? Apparently it wasnt miraculous enough for the Council of Nicea in the 3rd century. These early bishops and cardinals are the ones who formulated church doctrine pretty much as it is today, and they were commanded to do so by the Roman Emperor Constantine, who was a pagan until his deathbed.
I have always felt sorry for Joseph when the churches keep saying Jesus was born of a virgin.
What was Joseph, chopped liver?
And how would you feel if your wife suddenly got pregnant and told you that the child wasn't yours but was from having sex with God? Yeah right. People got executed back in those days for saying such things. Jewish law is pretty clear on adultery. First offense is punishable by death by stoning! Significantly, the same punishment is given for heresy and saying one has been impregnated by the holy spirit would be undeniable heresy in the eyes of the Hebrew scholars and rabbis.
In reality the bogus virgin birth doctrine was created 300 years after Jesus' birth. Jesus never, ever said such a thing about himself or his mom and dad.
Oh the myriad crimes of misinformation that the early Christians perpetrated all for the sole purpose of making their church grow. Does the end justify the means? certainly not. Lies never lead to Truth~
Oh Humanity, Wake Up! Drop this rank superstition and enter the age of enlightenment!

"'When his mother, Mary, was espoused to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.' Yes, and the Greek demigod Perseus was born when the god Jupiter visited the virgin Danaë as a shower of gold and got her with child. The god Buddha was born through an opening in his mother’s flank. Catlicus the serpent-skirted caught a little ball of feathers from the sky and hid it in her bosom, and the Aztec god Huitzilopochtli was thus conceived. The virgin Nana took a pomegranate from the tree watered by the blood of the slain Agdestris, and laid it in her bosom, and gave birth to the god Attis. The virgin daughter of a Mongol king awoke one night and found herself bathed in a great light, which caused her to give birth to Genghis Khan. Krishna was born of the virgin Devaka. Horus was born of the virgin Isis. Mercury was born of the virgin Maia. Romulus was born of the virgin Rhea Sylvia. For some reason, many religions force themselves to think of the birth canal as a one-way street..." - Christopher Hitchens

No. I do not believe that Jesus was divine and, if Mary gave birth to Jesus, I most definitely do not think she was a virgin.

Yes I do just like the Word said. why do so many people have a hard time with this fact? Without Jesus we would all be doomed to eternal separation from the loving God who created us to worship Him alone.

YES! If it is in the Holy Bible believe it and if it is not in the Holy Bible forget it. The Holy Bible is the only true word of God and Jesus Christ is that word.

No. The word "virgin" was incorrectly translated. It originally meant "young woman". Thanks to that mistake, some extremists have deemed it holy to lack a sex life. (You have to feel bad for Catholic priests. It's unnatural to not have sex). I believe that this event has promoted prudishness the world over.
