I was surfing the tv channels one night and this televangelist actually preached that the reported UFOs are angels who have been "kicked out" of heaven ... that they are "fallen angels". In other words, he is preaching that these sightings can not be governmental spacecraft nor possibly more tehnologically-advanced life forms from other areas of the cosmos. How in the heck can people preach this garbage and where do they get the funding to broadcast this ridiculous rhetoric? I find it outrageous and misleading! This minister ought to be locked up in the funny farm. Do you agree or disagree and why? http://www.jvim.com/

p.s. I believe in God. I just don't believe that unidentified aircrafts are some forms of crazy and evil-turned angels!

Even if this minister personally believes this, it is just a "theory" and not based on any biblical or scientific fact ... in other words, he is making it up and people are watching it on tv and maybe believing it because "he says it is so." OMG.

To "ThaDude": I'm not angry about it, I'm shocked. I don't watch much tv so coming across this broadcast really surprised me and caught me off guard.

It's no worse than any other religious superstition they push on people.

Now that you realize the "UFO's are angels" claim is false, perhaps you can start to look at religion's other claims. They are equally as nonsensical.

Van Impe does go far afield sometimes but I think you probably are taking his words out of context.

Alot of us do not believe in life out there. That this earth was created expressly so God could have a relationship with man.
If aliens do show up I will be casting that demon out. I believe that demons could show up claiming to be from out there which would be true. Of course demons are believed to be the angels that follow Satan.

The reason that folks like Jack are on T.V. is because millions of us know and love both he and Roxella who have been promoting our faith longer than most of you have been alive. We will pay the bill to get the word of knowledge that they offer to us.

You can hear it free but why waste your time. If you aren't saved it doesn't make sense. Also if you are too sophisticated or intelligent to hear the word and get saved, why complain about something no one asked you to do. Need some cheese? God Bless!

Although I do not watch Van Impe because I don't like SOME of the things he says, He's really not that far off on this one. No, I don't believe UFOs are fallen angels, but I do believe that demonic spirits exist. The Bible says they do. As for the fallen angels, they are chained up right now. But, like I said, there are demonic spirits, and I totally believe they are around us on this earth! They are Satan's minions, who do his dirty work for him. Think about UFOs, and people believing their are aliens from other planets. Isn't that pretty far-fetched? Yet how many people believe that? A lot, I would say. Most people never even saw one, but they still believe in them. Gee, that's strange????????????

Where's a balanced approach in all this? UFOs seem to have a variety of explanations. Like crop circles some of them have been a hoax, others due to meteorological conditions, others due to experimental activity (possibly by the military) and others are simply inexplicable. If you postulate a supernatural cause for these, then there are only two powers that could do this, God or Satan.

Over the years, and with a lot of practice, I've learned to ignore what some say when I know they're full of it, and even when what they are saying may harm some. First, I can't change them, or what their actions cause. Second, it's not good for me to harbor negative feelings for anyone. Third these ppl are capable of deciding what is right or wrong for themselves and finally because God is quite capable of cutting through the s**t and finding those who are lost. I just trust that God knows what he's doing and will take care of whatever needs His care.

Blessed Be

Who knows? If you believe in the big headed bug eyed grays that makes just as much sense as believing you have seen demons or evil angels. TV preachers get their funding from contributions from their audience. They buy the time and can say anything they want, it is in the constitution. It makes as much sense as most of the stuff that is on TV like Global Warming and same sex marriage. Some people prefer the entertainment of TV preachers to sports or sitcoms.

In cases like these you have mentioned, it is the minister himself who is the fallen angel. Lies, deception, and whatever pads the linings of their pockets with green money they will readily commit. They are evil incarnate. And they laugh behind the backs of the people who send them this money. They will rant and preach anything that will give them attention, so long as it pays the bills. These ruthless ministers have no fear of God or the consequences of their actions because they themselves are Satan, and they hate God, making a mockery of everything that mankind holds Holy and sacred.

why judge when you can just change the channel..people say and do anything publicly in this day and age and most of it is their version of philosophy that they have made their truth-if that is his truth just let him have it and if people choose to believe him then that is their truth and they are entitled to their choice just as you are to yours..religion is slowly fading even though it seems there is a great new push it is only a push out of desperation to those who play the victim and think they are desperate....most UFOs that are sighted come from the civilization within the interior of this planet[it is hollow ]after about 800 miles of layered surface-and there is a sun in the center of the hollow and a civilization that is far beyond what most of us can comprehend and it has been there for millions of years

there is an old saying 'Cheaters survive on Greedy'

People of new age need new ways tobe pushed into believing that angels and devils are up in the sky,

people themselves seed some thrill , it may be horror, or funny or religious,

It is greed of believers to see the God and angels very easily,, and in their home... so conman supplies them where there is Demand there is Supply this is another economic Law

One can help oneself and get the clarity,, insight ,,
insight is a very beautiful word..
In.. Sight ...
One has go look in one's own self within and ...
there will be sight ,. a light,,
but one has to persist, persevere . as one is waiting for a boy friend or girlfriend.

God is not so cheap,

God Bless you...

I agree that there are some really nutty things said in the name of Jesus. This guy is obviously really reaching, We should look to man-made explanations for these things, then natural phenomenon, then and only then to spiritual.

They get their funding by tapping into the lowest common denominator to pursuade and hit up their pocket books. It is a disgrace to anyone who truly follows and preaches the word of God. They will be sorely disappointed when they meet Him at jugement day...

Keep up the discerning eye...God Bless you!
